Scousers never change.

With the odd exception* I find them to be unpleasant, overbearing, over emotional, entitled and actually quite cruel. None of this is about football, it's just about how they present themselves.
* A bloke I used to work with years ago, Ken Dodd (who did make me laugh, and who was able to laugh at himself, a rare trait in scousers), and John Parrott (the snooker player and pundit). Apart from these rare exceptions, they can all fuck off.

I mean I live in Liverpool and if you dont mention footy they aint all that bad. Fuck me I come from Donny and give me a Scouser over someone from Rosso any day of the week
We'll have to beg to differ on that one. I live in Barnsley and even here you don't have to pay for your fuel in advance at a petrol station!! Although I like Barnsley and it's people. I don't feel their ulterior motive is to rob or scam me.

Couldn’t agree more! 😂

A few of my mates went to a international tournament a while back, they said all other English fans were decent with the exception of the scousers who were going round Trying to rob other English fans of their tickets, they a grubby, whinging rats who are always the victim

I’m not just saying this because we’ve lost. They were by far the worst fans to come to the lane.

Newcastle, Man Utd (away fans), Wolves, Everton were all miles better than them & created a much better atmosphere. When they scored their first I think they all just went ‘Yey’.

Maybe it’s because we’re shite and they expect to win but I remember being disappointed in the when we played them in 19/20.

Tell me where that is exactly in Liverpool? Most petrol stations across the country you pay at the pump so to generalise that Scousers steal it is a bit of a stretch

That cannot be true - what team were they supporting? Cannot be England because they are Scouse first, England second. So again sweeping generalisation.

Love the Liverpool love in here. I might be bias as I have lived in the area for 18 years (I'm 41) but if you gave me a choice of living here vs living where I am from (Doncaster) based on several factors including jobs, entertainment and people, I wouldn't pick Donny ever.

The sweeping generalisations on here that ALL Scousers are out to rob you, scam you, steal the clothes you standing up in is pathetic. I have felt less welcome in my home city and even in Sheffield recently.

I’m with you on this one Scouse. I don’t live in Liverpool but I visit regularly with work and have never had any issues at all with the people. It’s a great city. Like in every single settlement on earth, there are good people, idiots and everything in between.

I’ve felt less welcome in my own bedroom

We're going from one exception to the other so I'll accept it's somewhere in between.

That's a very low bar to be fair :)

I'm interested to know if anyone lives anywhere where they would rather move to Donny!

I appreciate this is anecdotal, but in my experience when I visit Liverpool, the need to pay up front in petrol stations, and the number of shops where everything is behind screens stands out from other places.

On my last visit, every single time I stood outside the pub having a tab I was approached by a beggar. On one occasion, the beggar was pushed off by a local who said they were embarrassing the city. They themselves started asking me for cash! :)

For balance, it's a great city, and whenever I've talked with anyone from Liverpool, they've been great people.
