Excuse me Alco, I love SUFC and have many cherished memories. I feel very lucky to have seen some half decent Utd sides, seen us take a Cup semi to Arsenal, seen us average 30k where every home game gave us all a huge buzz. I feel very sorry for the young'uns today.

Think York will be contributing very little to Cresswell's wages. They tried to sign Jonathan Greening as well but could only afford a £1,500 contribution and Forest wouldn't let him go for less than £2,000pw

No, I have no connection with the club whatsoever (other than having been a fan since 1948). I have never met Kevin McCabe or any of the current board members, or Danny Wilson. In fact I have only attended a handful of games over the past 3 years - partly for health reasons, the other being distance. I don't live in La La Land - I live in Boston, (Lincs).

You may think I talk bullshit, but it's just my honest opinion, based on experience; you claim that the club has money to spend on loan players. I believe that the club is close to its maximum allowed under the salary cap rules. I don't know which of us is correct. Do you have any evidence to prove that you are correct? If not I suggest that you shut up.

You seem to think that I'm connected with the club because I object to the team being described by some as 'shit'. I dislike anyone or thing being described as 'shit', but maybe that's a generation thing. I dont get what constant slagging of the club achieves, yes we arent perfect , yes we have made horrendous errors , yes weve lost and not turned up in 4 play off finals , , but that doesnt mean its necessary to slag off all and sundry , mercilessly, the term supporter , has the word support in it for a reason. OK, I'm not going to argue with you Broomers because, and maybe it's a generation thing, it'd be like arguing with my dad, and I don't do that. I didn't claim the club has money to loan players, my point is that the club had ample opportunity since the moment we got promoted to the Cheats League to do something and we didn't. We had a chance to build on something and to become a club to be proud of, not one who you wait for the smirk when you tell folks who you support. At that time we had everything going for us (apart from Warnock), we had cash and we still blew it. We were cowardly, we (or rather the powers that be) didn't care about being up there because they did nothing when they could see at Christmas that we needed something as the cracks were starting to show. We're paying for that cowardice now, and the bloke behind it all is still at the helm, still talking crap, still fooling the blind followers and that my friend is unforgiveable.

I don't like McCabe, I never liked him, I always thought of him as the epitome of Montgomery Burns and I still can't see how a true Blade with the clout he has could let this happen. It's sickening and it won't end until he goes, simple as that for me.

Oh and one last thing, I like Boston, used to go there as a young lad when I went fishing. A bit of history and still has a bit of olde worlde charm.

Danny should have the ba**s to come out in the press and say " I wanted a couple in, but was told no by the Board". Then, at least, we know where to vent our anger when we fall short again this season, as we will with the squad he has.

The money we "allegedly" owe is to McCabe.
Given the major errors of judgement HE has made in his managerial appointments, as I have mentioned before, I think he's not (if he really is a BIG Blade) morally in a position to demand all that money back. He's a business man supposedly, so he should realise that the money he has put into the Club isn't coming back.
