Stupid.These are still
Blades are obsessed with former players and managers coming back! If it’s not Billy, cus he’d be great in the changing room apparently it’s Monty because well tbh fuck knows why! He’s so far off what we want he’s barely in the same profession. Then we have the Wilder, and Warnock threads because that’s what we need, failures we are used to and they will sort this mess out, they won’t, no chance at all. I’m just waiting for a bring back Ched thread for a full house. Shows a severe lack of imagination.

I would love this to be wrong but it’s going to happen isn’t it. Even though he’s been awful in every single job since. It’s just depressing. The club will listen to, the snake that eats itself so to speak. Put Wilder in charge to appease the fans
Agree regards your comments with wilder/warnock. However I feel your wide of the mark regards Monty, did very well in Australia, building a progressive team on relative peanuts. The job might be a bit too big for him, but I’d definitely keep tabs on him whilst he’s in Scotland.Blades are obsessed with former players and managers coming back! I always liked Monty but let’s be honest, if he hadn’t played for us in the past not one person would even dream of suggesting him. He may well be worth keeping tabs on but the odds are he will never manage at the top level.Agree regards your comments with wilder/warnock. Probably not. Though it’s through him playing for us that’s enabled us to see how he’s progressed. He’s managing at the top of the Scottish league. Granted mostly league one. But we’ll soon be a championship club again.I always liked Monty but let’s be honest, if he hadn’t played for us in the past not one person would even dream of suggesting him. I thought about Carrick and wouldn’t be against it. Turned Wilders 3-5-2 into a 4 at the back and made them look really good at the same time which some on here say is impossible to doIt is time for Michael Carrick imo. If he'd come? Great premier league experience, learnt his trade under Fergie. A great tactician and motivator.
All fair points and in the future who knows what will happen but at the moment this job is too big for him. If we switch heckingbottom we basically need someone experienced who can handle the massive pressure they would be under from day 1 because let’s be honest it’s very unlikely to be a successful campaign and relegation looks nailed on. The pressure alone could ruin a young inexperienced manager.Probably not. Though it’s through him playing for us that’s enabled us to see how he’s progressed. I get the sentiment totally, but who you suggesting Sir Alex Fergusson or Arsene Wenger?Blades are obsessed with former players and managers coming back! Think we need hundreds of millions of pounds for thatWhat’s the obsession with ex players or Yorkshiremen or current players coming up to retirement (sharp). Ffs we need a total change of mentality! from the board the supporters even from the city of Sheffield itself if we ever want to be an established prem team.
