Shite division designed to keep the television watchers all over the rest of the world happy.

It’s sold as this fucking golden dream for clubs like ours so they can patronise us for as long as we’re in it.

Its wank. Its corrupt. I dont want us to have any part of it. It’s an unfortunate by-product of finishing in the top 2 in the Championship.

The next time this european super league comes around. Clubs like us and those in the EFL need to bang the drum as loud as possible in favour of them fucking off and never coming back.
 
I know it's a kneejerk reaction after yet another added time fuck up but, sorry, apart from the money what are we doing mixing with this set of corrupt bent bastards?
 
The thing is, in principle, I agree with punishing teams for time wasting.

However, we have 100% been ‘made an example of’ in this game, absolute nonsense and non consistency. You won’t see that much in any other game unless there’s a serious injury.

They’ve used today as a case study so in future they can go ‘see, don’t time taste it’s not worth it’.

I’m not saying it would only happen to us but it certainly would not happen to any of the big boys at all. Bullshit.
 
Always liked watching Premier League for years, but these new rules (the revamped handball and the added on time rules) are making the premier league a real pain to watch. Decisions across all the games have been so inconsistent that I'm left wondering what some of these new rules are anymore.

We were screwed over by Anel and Bash for the goals. Looked like McB was harshly given a second yellow( unless he has abused the ref). I thought 12mins injury time about right
 
The ref was terrible for both teams, the result was fair on balance of play. But how you can conjure up 1/3 of the half as added on time is beyond me. That would, and should, result in numerous red cards if it's for timewasting.
 
It's one of those things again, they get the equaliser gives them kick and there is still 5 mins left of injury time.

I expected 6-8 mins of injury time. Not 12. If we had played 6-8mins we likely leave with a point or maybe even a win.

I get the impression they evened it up because they only did 3 in 1st half when it should have been about 6. Shouldn't be doing that though.

Fucking 12. That amount of time is reserved for clubs like us. If we’re 1-0 down, theres not a chance theyre putting 12 up no matter how much time spurs might have wasted.

It's not just that but we simply cannot compete with these so called big boys, and never will. I love Bash, but he should be nowhere near a start in this league, and he's only there because we can't afford to replace him.

8 minutes was about fair. We end up drawing the game, fair enough. It was never fucking 12 minutes. Fucking ever.

They’d scored 2 in 10 mins, 8 mins was about right, another 2 for the goal so 10 was about right.

The 12 was excessive and has cost us McBurnie for a game
 
There's no way we 'wasted' 12 minutes to warrant that much time added. 1-1 might have been a fair, overall result as it was scored within reasonable time added on.
The number of yellows was a joke.
McBurnie complaining when he'd been fouled in front of the referee gets a yellow but Maddison in the referees face for 105 minutes doesn't?
Utterly screwed over. Bad mistake by Anel to not kick it up field for the second, Basham goes for the ball that McBurnie goes for all game and we concede (reminiscent of the Middlesbro' away goal the other year).
Palace we were woefully understrength and under-prepared. Forest caught napping. City game we were unlucky not to take a deserved point and Everton, miraculous triple save at the death stops our first win. But none of those games left me feeling sick as a dog as I do tonight.
 
We didn't lose because of a corrupt ref or because we're in a corrupt league. We lost because ..... shock.... we're not good enough.

We lost because our manager came out midweek and said we'd go there and try to take the game to them and win. Then instead he sits 11 behind the ball, invites pressure onto us and allow them shot after shot all match.

We lost because he made 0 tactical changes or any changes to formation to try to turn the match in our favour.

We lost because they deserved to win. Spurs battered us from start to finish and whether the extra time was accurate or not, they had 4x more shots than us and 70% possession all match.

But yeah, let's blame everything else but the obvious for our defeat.

WE....ARE....NOT....GOOD....ENOUGH.

Sadly, neither is Hecky. Good manager at Championship level. Tactical clueless in the Premier League, and no I'm not calling for him to be sacked.

These rules put more discretion in the hands of the ref so he can give decisions biased in favour of the big boys - if Spurs had been winning by one goal at 90mins today there is no way he'd have given us 12 mins to equalise

Authors of our own misfortune I'm afraid. We knew the rules before the season started and we saw it in the World Cup. What on earth did we expect if time wasting?

We time wasted like mad. Tried to frustrate them. A good game plan nearly worked. We weren’t fit enough and didn’t see the game out.

Let’s not blame the officials.

We defended for 100 minutes against Tottenham that was the game plan and it nearly worked.
