I don't think they'll be too disappointed with the outcome, put it that way. Even managed to do it without losing the game, with Captain Courageous ensuring no youngster missed the decisive pen. Perfect!

I agree it's shit for the fans.... however we've more than our share of form for it.

I'm sure someone said we've won 5 league cup matches in 9 seasons.... and 4 of them were in the same season.

The worst thing about losing is the confidence kick it gives the players after a brave performance on Sunday.

We were missing half the first team and hopefully that’s the last we see of a few of them for a while. Coulibaly & Laroucci will never be premier league standard. Trusty looked rusty & I can possibly see why Robinson has been the preferred choice so far.

We need a couple of creative midfielders between now & Saturday.

I remember the Barnet cup tie,not only did we lose to Barnet,we were outplayed,never even looked like beating them,another unprofessional display,one of many. Totally unacceptable for a professional football club in my opinion,typical United,Premiership/ Championship Football Club with a 3rd division mentality.
