This is punishment for not rolling over. The calibre of players they could send could of been the difference between staying up or not. Hecky the great oaf had to play the big man dint he.

Palmer leaving doesn’t necessarily mean our chances are scuppered. We’ll know I guess in 2 days time what’s happening. Should make for an interesting 48hrs (or so) if nothing else!

Doyle will be on 60,000 at wolves wi no relegation clause..Tom Davies cheap option that's how we roll. Have we ever been any different? No...Will we ever be any different? I fuckin hope so.

Davies is arguably the better option, finances aside. He certainly has more Premier League experience

How do you know?

It's been well documented the issue with signing Doyle was the relegation clause. Hecky says been talking to him all summer..what do you think the issue is?
£60k a week and no relegation clause? I can’t see that.

It's been well documented from sources that could be completely way off the mark, well documented doesn't mean it's a fact. nobody knows what's happening inside negotiations except for those making them.

Come on ..let's have it reyt.. we could have fucked Norwood off replaced his wages wi Doyle ..an upgrade for years to come.

How does that relate to the point you're trying to make?

He,s going on loan..wi a £5 million transfer fee...could we not loan and pay later.
It's a 5 million fee for wolves, we don't have a 60millon pound player that they want to buy like wolves do. They have bought nunes for less and are loaning doyle with a vastly reduced purchase fee so that wolves will roll over and agree to it. Let's not allow this to fool us that wolves are getting doyle on the cheap.

Don't let that get in the way of a moan for nothing. It's pretty clear that we didn't want Doyle anyway, we have a plethora of options in that position now

Wolves valued Nunes at £60m. They just sold him for £47m + Tommy Doyle, and they also have to pay an extra £4m to keep him at the end of the season. That suggests an approximate value of Doyle at £17m. We didn't have £12m for Akpom, so not sure where people think we're getting the £17m from to pay for Doyle (who is not a priority position)?

(It may suggest a value of £13m, but maths is not my strong point)

(No, I think it's £17m. City just paid £47m plus they get £4m back from Wolves, effectively making it £43m. £60m original valuation of Nunes minus the £43m they have effectively paid = £17m. I am genius)
