Normally you guess the future based on what’s happened in the past.

We’ve had these types of polls in the past and the owner has always spent more than expected. All the doom and gloom merchants have ended up with egg on their face. Usually when the Prince has said stuff he’s been generally consistent and honest. He’s explained we have to pretend we’re skint in order to get the best deals, which makes sense.

The problem is….the landscape has changed. If the Prince wants to get rid then obviously he’s not as enthusiastic. Also the fact he’s been trying to sell us to 2 charlatans for the past 18 months contradicts his comment about how he loves the club and wants the best. His due diligence was so pathetic it’s negligence and kind of proves he’s not bothered about who he passes the club on to.

So based on past history of when ever we’ve doubted the Prince he’s always come good but this time there is an ominous feeling that he”s going through the motions.

Also we’ve known we’re going to be promoted since Jan23, so surely all our targets were already lined up in place. So it’s totally amateurish that for the 1st match of the season we’re far weaker than last years team. It’s not looking good but I suppose we should wait until the window shuts before we judge our chances. I think we’ll make several impressive signings so I voted yes, but I’m not confident and do have doubts about the owner.

We should be spending the berge/ndiaye money £30 mill plus say £30 mill

Should be spending £60 Mill

If we dont shoes off Princey

Have United ever reinvested transfer money at the same level they have received!

In theory we have only spent £10million of the initial £20 million and would then have Nydia money and £12 million for Berge. The Prince refused point blank to say how much we received for Nydia ( for fear of clubs wanting more for their players - really) so lets say £14 million.

So altogether we would have at least £36 million to spend. Can you really see united spending that this season?
It will all be spent, but not necessarily on acquiring players.

Wow.We got promoted in Jan 23.😳I waited all that time for the West Brom game to celebrate.Sneaky bastards.😉.
Liverpool had Caicedo "lined up",that turned out well.I'm not convincèd that's even possible in a game driven by the frailties of human emotion that change in the blink of an eye, leaving the pro active plan shot and subsequent response is all that's left, but still at the mercy of human emotion,no matter how much money or planning is in place.
Fair to say perhaps that 91 other professional clubs are dealt similar cards🤔.
How does Hecky et al legislate for that?
I think they are doing the best they can given the circs and it's as much as we can reasonably hope for🙏.
We're still on the journey, lets see if the drivers are on the right road.I suspect our sustainability is in sensible hands and the future need not always reflect past events.Fresh tarmac, smoother ride😎.
And not one but two Brazillians at BDTBL. Who'd have thunked it
Anyone know how to Samba🥳.

It will be spent. But the poll should be
A On Players
B A new helicopters for Prince.

I went 'A' regardless.

I get the impression we didn't want to spend 10m on O'brien as we're using the remaining money on Archer. Davies on a free.

It should be £30/35 mill for berge & ndiaye

Plus £25/30 mill which is pittance in prem terms

Doubt we will spend £50/60 mill because the “future of the club “ depends on it

Well, we've at last signed a couple of proven midfielders. 🙂

Now how about someone who they can give the ball to and who knows where the net is?

How are you going to get your kicks when the transfer window is shut?

The stadium improvement thread is always good for those wishing to spend the fruits of the magic money tree.

Besides the sell out against Palace is conclusive proof that we need a 40/50,000 seat stadium.

Though strangely there weren't that many sell outs in the championship.

So I voted - maybe.

Don't forget wages though.

Kyle Walker on £ 8.3 million annual salary apparently, Grealish on £ 15.6 million.

Still believe Utd should start their own brewery and sell loads of beer like Tottenham do. Could be worth millions over the season.

They get double the fans and sometimes more games in European competition.

The Saudi Ale Company Ltd ?

With head brewer Brewster while he's off sick.
Maggot ale our specialty.

If it 'could' be worth millions, why not set one up yourself and become rich enough to buy the club.
