eh dont criticise mcburnie on here you will get dogs abuseNeed better than Doyle and McBurnie if we're going to score enough goals to stay up.
No, cast off the Blades emblem, follow the gourd.... the gourd is the sign! Some anonymous person has private messaged Tommy Doyle saying give us a sign and he's replied with Blades emblem emoji.
Aye
Ross Barkley is the biggest myth in football. If he finally pulls it all together, fair play to him, but I’m happy we steered clear of that one.I didn't even realise they had signed him. Fantastic signing for them. Fairplay. A bit annoyed that we didn't take a punt on him considering he's a free and loads of prem experience.

We are working hard on this one today. And we are working hard for it to not include a buyback. Wouldn't be surprised if we make a breakthrough this evening/early tomorrow. Tommy Doyle close too. Both should be buys not loans if we can get the fee right on this one.

I think he has some useful attributes and experience but I also agree he was overhyped. I would prefer to see him in midfield instead of bash/ozzy personally. Even his disappointing spell in France returned 4 goals and 2 assists which isn't bad. Will be interesting to see what they can get out of him.Ross Barkley is the biggest myth in football. Hamer isn't coming, but I think Archer is definitely on.
Hamer isn't coming, but Archer could definitely be on.
We had him lined up to come in January to replace Khadra, but the embargo put pay to that.
I think the two loans will be these type of players Capt. Unfortunately it will be deadline day.I can't keep up with who's called what correctly as an ITK anymore, though I do remember the high profile Ndiaye error so pretty sceptical (though appreciative) on your info since..
However, if you're right, I'm very curious as to our plan.
Doyle isn't a creative midfielder and has never performed to a high level anywhere other than centrally.
We've also all seen Souza's stats, they're as defensive as you can possibly imagine and he doesn't seem to have progressive passes in his locker.
Hamer, is an all rounder. He has goal contributions in his locker but he certainly isn't what you'd describe as an out and out attacking midfielder.
So what's the balance?
Are we going to play with a double-pivot?
To me, the biggest issue facing this side is goals.
Hamer addresses the gap that Berge's left.
Archer would upgrade the CF area.
But nobody has replaced Ndiaye and McAtee. Tillman or Akpom would have gone some way to resolving that issue, Cole Palmer could still come in (though it looks unlikely now). Where are we going to find our mobile, line-breaking AMs?
If we have money, I really think those resources should be ploughed into that area rather than another deeper midfielder.

Correct based on players we are wanting on loan. Diallo / Palmer / macca have always been at the top of the loan list.I think the two loans will be these type of players Capt. Unfortunately it will be deadline day.
It might have only been a loan option until Villa signed that striker yesterdayI really would have hoped that we were working hard on this one over the weekend, and yesterday too. Maybe we were....?

yes sir lolFfs get over it
The 2 loans if we get them in should be ball carriers to aid Hamer and fill the Ndiaye / Berge gap. We are now 2 ball carriers down on last year.
Is exactly what the person who sent the instagram message would say.Not on Instagram. What does it say?
Surely for each match Hecky has to see who is available and then decide who to play and in what way. In the meantime I assume (hopefully) that the correct players have been targeted and are flying in from Saudi as we speak.I can't keep up with who's called what correctly as an ITK anymore, though I do remember the high profile Ndiaye error so pretty sceptical (though appreciative) on your info since..

That's why I'm fairly confident on this oneIf Luton pump us to Archer, after no doubt breaking their bank on Ross Barkley's wages, then Jesus Christ.
We're really up against it if they picked up Jesus Christ on a free as well?If Luton pump us to Archer, after no doubt breaking their bank on Ross Barkley's wages, then Jesus Christ.
If the pigs signed Archer I would literally give up with football.Bad news. Massive fans want him in the championship

Cameron Archer preference as Sheffield United joined by Leeds and Luton
Blades boss Paul Heckingbottom is keen on the Aston Villa striker, who he has tried to sign before, as he targets new signings before Friday's match with Nottingham Forestwww.examinerlive.co.uk
"Heckingbottom had earmarked Archer as the man to replace Reda Khadra in January when the Brighton man's loan was cut short, but his plans were hit when the club was slapped with a transfer embargo and the forward joined Middlesbrough instead."
For what it's worth, I still don't think we'll sign Hamer, despite the fact it's all been announced!
I won't believe it until I see him on the grass in the red and white!
Thursday at 12:30pmAnyone know what time/day a player needs to sign before can play on a Friday evening...
