Shit indeed.

He was always leaving this Summer or next. Always destined for bigger and better things.

Disappointing the fee is probably 5/6m less than what would have been “fair”. Maybe we’ve a chunky sell on fee? Who knows.

However, from the offset we were pretty stuck. A player who didn’t ultimately didn’t want to sign a new deal and the fact of losing for free next year.

By all account we’ve offered him the “biggest deal” in history, not much more we can do.

Does it weaken us? Absolutely.
However Does a couple of high end loan players, recruited using the fee strengthen us? Let’s say this allows us Cole Palmer and Diallo, are we stronger? Maybe…

I don’t believe the figures. The club doesn’t want to sell him and if he wants to go Im sure that SB and the prince will get the best deal for united

Well I’m pleased for you.

However I hope you aren’t too disappointed when what you believe is proven to be untrue, and that the figures were in fact correct, and that the prince has only one real hope and that is someone buys the club.

We wouldn’t even get promoted from the championship with the squad we’ll have when Ndiaye leaves
I am dreading next season . Think i will go to bed for 9 months and pull the bed sheets over my head . So sorry for the manager he will probably get the blame when it goes tits up . Pity some fans have got short memories they should remember this .

Hopefully a replacement is already waiting. Remember how quickly a deal was ready for kone when we thought we might be losing berge

Why all this hate for Akpom if he is being lined up as a replacement?

Illy is undoubtedly the best player i have seen play for the Blades and nobody could replace what he provided for us.

But if we are to bring in the player who bagged nearly 30 goals and was voted the league's best player (in the same league we have just come from) then I can't get on board with the theory that he is shit and a one season wonder! Akpom is very good and was the best player I saw at Bramall Lane last season, aside from N'Diaye.

We’ve got differing opinions. Can we leave it at that please? Just ignore my comments if they annoy you?
It’s a forum. A place for people to exchange opinions. Maybe if you don’t like people contradicting your opinions it isn’t for you.

Otherwise, would you like to let us have an example of an average player in the last year of their contract going for £40m?

Fair play fella but still no need for derogatory comments about the French
I presume when talking about the French, you mean, the 1939-1945 French, no point in being derogatory about the Second World War French - there's many reasons why it did not work out for them, and why they capitulated so quickly.
However, you're obviously not talking about the '1066' French who invaded Britain, killed King Harold, murdered the current rulers, established a new order never seen before in Britain, forced the population to speak French and established a 'nobility' that still exists today, or the resulting 1,000 years of French, who tried to invade us and kill us all, including Neapolitan who wanted to establish a dictatorship across Europe and liquidate the entire British population. Just the 1939-1945 French we should not be angry about. 🤣🤣.

Pretty sure Carrick said Akpom is injured a few weeks back.

Well I might be on my own but I’m going to show him as much loyalty (if it true, nowt on Sky) as he’s showing us and hope it all goes t!ts up for Marselle

I know what you mean.

Ultimately I wish the lad well, as he has been a joy to watch, always gave 100% and comes across as a decent person. But OM have some proper bellends who support them, and are going to be unbearable for a while if this deal goes through.

Maybe there's a couple of great signings to come. There's a chance a very slim but definitely real chance there's been plenty of dealing done quietly hence letting him go now

I dunno, just trying to be a bit optimistic. Could just steal his passport?

Ultimately United decided to sell him. Ndiaye is powerless. Ndiaye remained professional and was one of the best players in the league whilst being paid buttons for two years. His work ethic and attitude has never been in doubt
He had already been offered an improved contract which he turned down.

It’s this mentality that’s killing us….if we spend a penny of the paltry fee received on loan players we are just creating a bigger problem.
We need permanent players of quality to survive, players we can bring in and sell
For a profit enabling us to replace again.

For the sale of IN to work we needed it to be over £20m so we could invest in top talent that’s looking a dead cert to get better and go up in value.
Loans are dead money.

To be pedantic they were Norman not French but I take your point.

I am prepared to stick my neck on the line with this. We don't want or need fucking Chuba Akpom.

1. He is nothing like a replacement for Ndiaye for a start (true few players would be)
2. Last season was just a flash in the pan
3. He has struggled to get double figures in a season in his whole career
