Judging by the convo he and Baldock had on the Portugal vid I’d say it’s a done deal… cross the t’s and dot the i’s when they get back and we’re all buzzing!

If he was only intending to stay for next season, why would he agree to sign a new deal?

He’s a free agent at the end of this next season 🤷🏻‍♂️

He gets a very big wage increase, which when he does leave, the new club have to improve which equates to 2 pay rises in 12 months instead of one, and he'd get 2 signing on fees, one now, and one from the new club.. He can't lose as he has the added security of a long contract (something joc was very greatfull for when injured)...

He's rumoured to be on about 4k a week plus playing bonus etc right now, believe it or not, so the increase might have changed his missuses mind about stopping here..

This has got 40k a week written all over it, and that will work out great bussiness after this season when he skyrockets in value, then we can all cash in when the buying club have to pay full whack due to his contract, the Prince isn't daft, I expect Berge to follow a similar path..

We turned down £25m from Everton
"Everton made their bid for Ndiaye late in the window and their offer, of £25m, included add-ons on top. But United, determined to hold on to their prized asset in a bid to reach the Premier League this season, stood firm and rejected it."
I'm just going on what a few OM journalists have said. I dont think we would turn £25m down right now, I wouldn't expect us to either IF he's unwilling to sign a new deal.

Keeping him last season made sense in the hope he gets you up, the finances you gain from promotion & you have another 6/7 months to tempt him towards a new deal. I know the flip side is keeping him for this season could mean you do all of those things again, but they know Ndiaye is an asset and they won't want to lose that for free if they get a good offer.

Yeah I agree, it seemed a bit staged. Think that was another cheeky media team clue. Bet the question Baldokis wanted to ask was arrrrrrr much they payin you now.

If he doesn't sign up again, the best late bid in this window will see him gone..

It's decision time now for illiman, I think he's got a terribly inexperienced agent, gambling on him not getting injured this coming season..

Your post read as all OM had to do was offer the 17.5m and he was off no matter the circumstances
I said seemingly and this was based on ITK journalist posts that’s why. I’ve no idea what we want 😂. If it’s right then they either need to pay that because it’s a very good price or they move on.

Not what Andy said …

Forest interest would worry me.
MGW tapping him up and Forest would have zero qualms about meeting our asking price.

For Ndiaye, it would mean he could stay in the area he's settled in - which is seemingly of some importance right now

No doubt wouldn't be able to compete with their wage offering either.

There's not a chance they'll offer him anything like the release clause security we would though. And they're hardly nailed on for survival this season. Effectively they're another Everton and he was determined to not go there.

Don't look for no worries
Worries and troubles come around
Yes, I don't look for no worries, people
Worries and troubles come around
The world keep on turning
I got to keep my feet on the ground

1. What doesn't worry you?
2. No chance Ndiaye would move to Forest, he has far better options now, and probably even better ones to come in the not too distant future.

Think theyve got ffp restraints this season
Cant afford the henderson fee unless they ship some out

He's openly said he wants to win the balloon d'Or whatever that actually is.

So it would be a club that could potentially be champions league not Nottingham forest to tempt him

My hope is that illiman looks at how forest have treated a bunch of their signings and doesn’t fancy getting lost in the shuffle

In addition I think forest would have higher release clauses in any context at if they have to pay a large fee to get him and it would be harder for him to get out of a proper big clubs comes in for him.

Really hope this gets done and it’s agents squeezing the last few clauses out of us rather than a sign things are off again

Which professional footballer doesn’t want to win the Ballon d’or?
