One of best loan signings ever, had a superb season with us and a great attitude. He certainly doesn't deserve to be abused by Bades fans. For those with a short memory this was his debut, helping us to a 6-2 win against Peterborough, our first convincing performance of that season. Without him we wouldn't have been close to the play offs that season.

Hopefully the song is sung in jest more than anything. I have lost a lotta love for him since he signed for them scabby cunts but he's still alright in the main. A great loan signing.

I know people will say its just banter or because he chose Forest, but it's a bit sad imho.

If Forest stay up and MGW stays there, I can't see him going anywhere this summer, it will be interesting to see what type of reception he gets. Those that criticise him for joining Forest should bare in mind that he wasn't valued at Wolves by all accounts and he had a really good relationship with Steve Cooper through the under 21's with England. I didn't like him joining Forest either but it's football.

I'll certainly give him a decent reception in that game. If we choose to boo him it will inevitably come back and bite us!

I'm confused why this would happen. He's a footballer, not a fan going on about something that happened before he was born.

He's from the midland and has moved from a midland club with a weird transfer policy to another midlands club.

He did, when Hecky took over. Before that he was just part of Headless Chickens FC.

Of course we’d never have him permanently but any good feelings I had towards him went as soon as he signed for that lot.
