Anel

I also think Baldock at RWB gets a bit more out of Berge.
I've wanted Bogle to be the answer, in theory Bogle, Anel, Berge sounds so good on paper. The reality is, it hasn't worked.
His fitness and work rate lightens the load on Berge somewhat. They're also good mates I think, which helps

I'd still start Bogle RWB most games but we need to be smart and selective with it. Keep him as fresh as possible, pick the games that suit Baldock better. Tbh more often than not I'd start them both with Baldock at LWB. It's crunch time, we need our best on the pitch

Or play Baldock at WB and Bogle in midfield, instead of Berge!!

Usually I'd say that you can't expect good attacking full backs to be able to play as wingers but I think Bogle would have half a chance at this level
I think, if he gets back to pre injury levels, he'd be very good.
Cant be a worse Berge than Berge surely!!

We should try Bogle off the bench for Berge.

I've no idea why Berge never gets substituted. Bogle coming on could easily add more in defence and attack than a knackered Berge.

The pigeons often offer more than Berge, before hes knackered!

Anyone considered using him as a box to box midfielder?

After watching Stoke against Boro it's evident we need someone in midfield who can break up play but also get forward.

Obviously Sander would be looking at to do that but considering he's afraid of his own shadow, maybe Anel could do a job there...?

He's not rapid but still pretty quick, not afraid of getting physical and likes to get forward.

Just a suggestion...

Looks like he had a good game up against Ronaldo last night (who is admittedly past it).

I think it gets overlooked how much of an asset he will be in the Premier League. Defenders with pace and good on the ball don’t usually cost £3m.

I think with his illness issues behind him that held him back earlier in the season it’s not fanciful to suggest he could be hitting similar levels of form the Ndiaye hit last year.

I think all Blades know he’ll be an easy fit in the Prem pity we don’t have a full squad with similar ability

Round pegs in square holes. Nope. We don't know when RND will be back and if he's crocked for a lot longer we need a left footed LWB. Bogle is injury prone. If we don't have a proper LWB what happens WHEN Bogle is out injured? Play Furious in both positions at the same time?

i think anel is a better centre back than egan he proved that against spurs in the cup problem then would be could egan play lcb

I agree that's why Walker would be such a good fit, Walker, Anel and Egan would be a solid back 3.

IMHO Why would Walker leave Man City to come to BDTL on considerably less wages and probably joining a club fighting to stay in the division, before a ball has been kicked,i know, just my thoughts.
He's said he wants to come back a number of times. He won't this summer though. He can stay at city and earn 8 million quid

You've done the maths,i guess,i believe he has a year on his contract at Man City, maybe when he once again says he wants to play for us,he may have lost his speed which is his greatest asset but we can always hope.

Apparently he's close to signing for Bayern.

That was posted before the run in, about the run in, and before Bogle's form turned to shit

Obviously we need a LWB this season. It's vital. I wouldn't play Bogle unless forced to, as it stands. Needs to prove himself all over again

Bogle isn’t a LWB

Not directed at anyone in particular, but Bogle had a golden spell for us not so long ago, where he looked every inch a Premier League player.

Humans are not perfect. As far as we know, there's nothing stopping him getting back to his best.

Anel was fantastic last night up until the last 10 minutes where he tired a bit due to having to do so much defending for the rest of the team, he was immense. He’s going to be some player!
