I think from memory that Simon Tracey was 21 when we first brought him to the club from Wimbledon for £8.5k (another Bassett inspired signing) and he went on to have a tremendous career with the vast majority of it with us. He was a pretty good keeper.....

If our own young lad can be half as good as Tracey was (but better than him in the bookies) then we will have some keeper on our hands.

21 is still a pup really, but he seems to have all the attributes and sometimes being young and fearless helps you get on as you don't worry too much about mistakes. I'd love him to push on now and ultimately emerge as our number 1 for a long long time. That would mean he has developed into a very good keeper. Early days yet and he still has a long way to go but every journey begins with those first steps.

Well done lad on Friday night by the way. Calm and assured and exactly what we needed at the time.

He did well on Friday, confident performance.

That said, an emergency loan wouldn’t go Amissah, just for safety (and so I could make that joke).

I can also confirm that young Jordan is a very pleasant lad who has had well grounded influencers (and Blades) around him since he arrived in Sheffield. Great to see him make his first team debut and look very competent in doing so.

Really hope he kicks on this season because especially with his height he can have a good career if he improves on other certain parts of his game. He could easily push infront of Davies and Dewhurst oh and erm Eastwood in the pecking order.
Prefer him to everyone except Wes myself. You don’t mess with Jam when he’s coming for the ball. Good Keeper.

Agreed, he is quite a unit for a goalkeeper. I'd sooner see him feature ahead of some of the other keepers we have.

Seen him playing for Spennymore town a few times. Always impressed.
