Crue should sack the sound engineer, it sounded crap and not the bands fault and Vince sounded better than I thought he was going to.Well, Mötley Crüe were pretty good, but blown out of the water by Def Leppard.
Nowt wrong with hair metal , I can listen to the lot from heavy Sabbath , DC to soft Whitesnake ForeignerUnfortunately for me Def Leppard were the standard bearers for everything I hated about the way Rock/Metal was going at the time. They left Sheffield as a brilliant, no frills, hard rocking band and they came back from the States as an over commercialised (much, much richer) bunch of pouting poodles, who became the high priests of hair metal and pop/rock…That’s when I checked out.
Kop was openKop's not open. Just John St and South Stand. It will be like a League Cup game.

Lep’s were class as usual.
Yes ears still ringing lolManaged to get some big vibrations on the cladding at the back of the Kop.
Or, watch who you want.Loads of good up and coming bands to watch for way less , or nothing at pub venues. Give them some support and a few quid instead.
Is she the physio ?You’d have thought they’d have stuck the 21s on one of the screens…View attachment 161147

My wife went as she had been given a ticket and wasn't looking forward to it. She said Def Leppard were absolutely brilliant and she thoroughly enjoyed the evening.Wasn’t bad was it? Better than I was expecting.

Danny Bowes reveals extent of head injury: 'I've had to learn to walk again'
Thunder frontman Danny Bowes made his welcome return to Planet Rock’s airwaves...planetradio.co.uk
Used to like listening to his show, always had some really interesting stories, he's got a fantastic voice too.
If you compare every band you see to Queen at Wembley in 86, then you're going to gave a lot of dissapointing nightsThat's one of the worst gigs I've ever been to.
I should caveat that, by stating that I don't really like def leppard, at least not for 35 years since.
Easily the highlight of the show was motley crew doing anarchy in the UK.
Stood out from the over produced, poor man's bon Jovi that it was.
None of em lay a finger on queen for a good stadium took gig of that genre.
Was more meant about the comments about how expensive gigs are.Or, watch who you want.
Oh right, yeah if that's the case then absolutely. Was more meant about the comments about how expensive gigs are.
Not a fan of either band, but great for the club and city to have had this. Could hear most of it from my house!
It’d be good if the club tried to get more of these types of events during the summer as another revenue stream. We’ve had a few non-Blades events in recent years, so suspect it’s already the case that they are looking at this.
You will never go to another gig if Queen is your benchmarkThat's one of the worst gigs I've ever been to.
