Hope we can get this takeover sorted ASAP.And get that mega rich owner that we all dream off,to take the wind out of those blue & white bastards sails, they have now found their way out from under the rubble,I know we have maintained the Gap and of course hopefully they get fucked up at Wembley, better still if it's Barnsley who shaft them, but the sound of MIND THE GAP GAP does sound brilliant

  • We just finished a season with our record high number of wins.
  • We just finished a season with 91 pts
  • We recently played in an FA Cup semi final
  • Possibly the best footballer in our clubs history just lit up the division

Oh and errrr, we got promoted to the Premier League.

Our success isn't defined or hampered because the Pigs won a fantastic game of football in the league below.

They are still milking that win over Newcastle in the Cup. No doubt them and Simon Jordan will be making this news worthy for generations.

I believe the youth would say "delete this".

Sheffield Wednesday scraping past Peterborough in L1 playoff semi-final has no tangible bearing on Sheffield United.

Jesus, any Pig infiltrators will love reading this board today, they already think we are "obsessed and living rent free" don't give them anymore ammo, FFS.

Let them have their moment, as much as i hate them they fully deserved it...normal service will soon be resumed, we are going into the best league in the world, they haven't even been promoted yet.

How are people going to cope if Wednesday get good one day? They're still trying to get into a division we have just been promoted out of and still some people are down in the dumps!

Nothing they may achieve this season will top what we've done.
I think its because 99% of football fans thought pigs were dead and buried 4-0 down and alot of us were taking piss.

Yes were still miles ahead but its annoying how it's turned out

Think how they feel about us getting promoted to a league higher than the one they're trying to get into

I've had something of a 12 month hiatus off the forum and that period of disconnection gives you a broader perspective of our fanbase, maybe somewhat similar to how you can objectively assess the mood of rival fan forums.

Since I've returned - I've seen an idiot someone try and put a cogent argument for sacking Heckingbottom after the Huddersfield game and the same old forum members still scapegoating the same players in spite of a 91pt winning, promotion season.

I echo your sentiments on the pod - Why these whiney, entitled fans pay to follow us is something I'll never understand. They'd be better gratified by playing FIFA or Football Manager on the easiest setting.

I think the problem is that some of us remember how insufferable they were when they were good!

Wednesday are a big club, one day they will be back just like Forest or Leeds, that’s football, it’s not a problem, we spent 6 years in L1 but have come back, eventually with decent management and investment the big clubs will always return to the top flight

I keep thinking that they've just got into the 3rd division play off final and they still have to beat either Bolton or Barnsley to get promoted which wont be a given.

And, they would have gone up automatically if they hadn't collapsed in the latter stages of the season (which was enjoyable to watch tbh)

I have a feeling Barnsley will go up.

They've been irrelevant for a long time and even if they do have a lovely day at Wembley and get promoted, they will still be irrelevant to us.
It's like a supermodel being bothered because her cousin that she hates got on the cover of an Asda magazine.....we are better in every way at the moment and I don't see it changing anytime soon!!

... a tier of English football which they haven't been promoted into since 1991 and even that promotion required them to benefit from the expansion of the top tier to 22 teams (two down, 4 up in 1990/91 with Wednesday finishing 3rd in Div 2).

Think that you need to change your username mate 🤣

I’ve had a great week taking the piss,it’s been great watching them squirm ,it doesn’t matter to me that they had a good night last night,Wednesday are totally irrelevant to what the Blades have achieved this season,as my daughter said “have they won the champions league again ?”
Paulhalfway-where do you get this Wednesday are a big club from ? Same as us ,a good medium sized club with great support .

Got tbh, I'm finding a few Blades's reaction to last night a bit sad.

Yeah we all get the rivalry/banter but under the circumstances I don't get how affected some seem to have been.

I appreciate I'm not quite as obsessed with all things Pigs like many are and due to personal circumstances, I can actually feel pleased for one or two if they win at Wembley due to current situation.

I can laugh if they lose but life's far too short to let a little bit of pig joy affect my day.
