Can't see anything, where's this from Toronto? On loan I assume if true? He's not played a competitive match is that right as a senior player? Not so sure that we'd want someone who's never played senior football unless it's one for the future but then he wouldn't be coming on loan if he's one for the future.

Could play in the middle or the right then. To be honest right now Bash is our cover for both Egan and Anel and despite how good he’s been for us I’m not sure I’d want Bash to be having a long run in the prem if we have an injury or suspension.

I’m so up for this sought of transfer if true.
And you’d like to think that Hecky can do a good job of persuading said players to come to us for their development.
Anel, Doyle, McAtee have all thrived and improved from their time here.
The dressing room cohesion is also a big pull.
It’s not always about the big money move. We are very competitive when players consider the other factors involved.

A young defender who’s up to the job would obviously be fantastic and much needed.

But I’m minded to remember how convinced I was that Ethan Ampadu was going to be a brilliant signing for us. Pretty sure he was Chelsea’s under-21s captain as well and had much more professional experience than this kid.

How many Prem clubs would he be an auto starter? Not many IMHO. If the opportunity with Utd appeals and the money is right (Chelsea youngsters are on fortunes btw) there's just the matter of persuading him to swap a swanky flat in Chelsea Harbour for living in S Yorks and spending a large proportion of his week in Shirecliffe. Anyone that can persuade him to agree to that is worthy of getting Negotiator of the Year award!

Probably registered with Chelsea until he is 24, if his current contract expires this summer and if the club who wins the race to sign him fails to agree a transfer fee with Chelsea then the tribunal will decide the fee

Whaaaaat? He’s a shocking player. Not technically good enough to play in midfield and not strong enough to play in defence. Nothing has changed since he played for us.

Mid table Championship defender at best.
