Sorry but won’t have time to invade the pitch tomorrow, probably won’t have time to applaud the players and staff due to the 8pm start and my last train at 9.55pm. So I may have to leave on time or a tad early , if that’s alright with ,
β€œ Turnleatsaart ?” . I know from his Wembley experience he doesn’t like early leavers. So if we do manage promotion πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘. To the players and staff, I thank you all.
Be careful on your way out too!, random kidney punches could be a factor, for all you cunts leaving early!!🀣

Take the celebrations into the car park or London road, no need to invade the pitch
Not going too happen.
You know exactly whats going too happen.
Fat bold men in their 50's trying too climb over the advertising hoardings with arms held out.
Young Chav's in Grey or Black jogging bottoms with elasticated bottoms running up hugging players.
Mums and Dads with their little Chav's trying to blag a Shirt.

The forest pitch invasion would have been fine were it not for the violent incidents, and it's a shame fans can't celebrate in the ways we used to. But I understand why, the knuckle draggers spoil it for everyone else by attacking players, then you get people blaming the club, SCC and normal fans for taking action to protect the players, in my view they're the worse, sitting behind a keyboard blaming everyone but the ones who are at fault l, probably partly responsibly for acting like dicks in real life

That was my first time on the pitch. I think we had to climb a fence then too. Last time was MK Dons away.

Gonna stir the pot here and get on peoples wicks…
I for one will be pitch invading tomorrow (if there is one that is). Personally, I do it for memories for myself, and my young one. I want him to at least one day remember when he’s older about the time we invaded the pitch after beating WBA to get back into the Premier League. I used to love it, Northampton Away…MK dons Away… I could go on.

Why as a club are we that boring in the sense of being so β€œanti pitch invading”. Yes I know about fines of the club and β€œit’s all about the players safety and the players in general” but I’m not an idiot that is going to run up behind Jake Livermore and rugby tackle him to the ground just for β€œbants”. Pitch invasions used to/and still are euphoric! Their memorable - and to threaten me with abuse and shout β€œoff” consistently…well I’m prepared. It’s my own risk that I shall take, but it’ll be something my child will remember for a long long time. Any father knows that they’d do anything for their child - and yes I’m willing to take that risk for him.

UTB and see you all on the pitch tomorrow.

Edit: I feel as if 50% of this forum will deep down want to invade, but don’t want to take the abuse like Fallowfield does on a weekly πŸ˜… so give it your best shot πŸ™ˆ

Love the honesty. I would be doing the same (if I wasn’t stadium banned for invading the pitch).

But seriously. All harmless, euphoric fun.

Fallowfield will be streaming onto the pitch in S6.

If you want to pitch invade, fine, but it's only fair you give your details to the club so they can pass them on to the police, give you a ban and send a bill for the fine.

Have the scabs been charged yet...........................EFl havd been pretty quiet on this? (for a years, what)?

If everyone who goes on the pitch does just that and nothing more, then I understand, but the reality now is those going on the pitch make a perfect screen for idiots who want to attack players and officials.
Ask Billy if he agrees with you.

If you want to invade the pitch wait until after the lap of honor. yes at your own risk. you will be banned for life and any other person who is with you.
Take that risk but don't complain when you could possibly be banged up. and giving Sheffield council an excuse to close the front ten rows on the kop.

Why would risk your sons ability to forge lifelong memories of watching his team in the top flight of English football, against the finest teams and players in the world....

Not sure if your post in tongue in cheek or designed to get a reaction and ruffle a few feathers.... But if the post is legit, you stand an equal chance of ruining your kids future.

Genuine question…

What additional memory will you and your kid get from invading the pitch that you wouldn’t get if you were in the stands?

Does the promotion not count?

β€˜Remember that season when we got promoted and reached FA Cup semi final, despite transfer embargo and financial troubles son?’

β€˜Well dad, I can’t remember running onto the pitch so it mustn’t have happened’

When you think that one of our greatest ever club legends literally got headbutted by a pitch invader just last season, I can’t believe people are even considering doing it.

Was this the reason the stewards were on the pitch in line around 18 yards from the line in the last home game?
If it is, it’s an imperfect strategy for a couple of reasons. Firstly, they struggled to do anything in unison with each other, so the line wasn’t very straight despite the old bloke telling them what to do.

Secondly, the two lines only cover the ends, they leave a very substantial gap between the penalty areas on both SS and JSS sides. Even our brain dead wannabe hoolies will spot that flaw and somehow gain access to the hallowed turf. It’s trickier for us, we’re in the BLUT, but I’m thinking we could jump onto the netting that protects the BLLT and wing it from there.

Trig Jnr (TY) is in his thirties now, but I want him to have memories he’ll treasure for ever, I just hope we don’t each end up with broken ankles.

In other words if you do go on, don't smack any of their players
Surely best thing to do is lose then no pitch invasion -

Makes sense to me

Bit like never get hurt in love - don’t fall in love

Good luck mate

Hope it works out for you - but keep safe

Snap!

quite a few walsall players were attacked by our fans on the pitch in may 81 πŸ€”

I was stood on the Terrace Section at the Leicester match in 79.
We had to win 9-0 to stay up and ended up drawing 2-2.

A fan near me climbed over the fence, ran on the pitch and slapped one of the Leicester defenders in the face.

Why go on at all? What do you achieve by doing it?

Fuckin stay in the stands like the rest of us you attention seeking knobheads
Couldnt put it any better !!
