Said the exact same today. It’s a bit shit how much of a gap it is with Man City to the rest of the teams in England (and probably Europe) where it’s just impossible to even compete. Couldn’t fully get up for it today as I just saw it more as a expensive day out than anything elseHad no sense of excitement today because we had so little chance of winning. Very little sense of disappointment now. Sad, really.
Definitely would have been better if at a Northern neutral groundSaid the exact same today. Yeah I put a post about that on another thread, what’s the point for 2 northern clubs travelling down to London instead of a neutral ground nearby, ridiculous really.Definitely would have been better if at a Northern neutral ground

So that the FA nobs don't have to travel for the game.Yeah I put a post about that on another thread, what’s the point for 2 northern clubs travelling down to London instead of a neutral ground nearby, ridiculous really.

I doubt it I'm afraidNdiaye whacks that 2nd min shot in and it’s a different day.
But would have given us some(false) hopeI doubt it I'm afraid

I thought the Blades fans were great today, however I think the city fans were all asleep.Atmosphere was absolutely anaemic. It was just starting to build to something but then they got the penalty.
Every fan who turned up at all deserves credit, it’s a lot of money for what you’re getting in return
And lasted maybe 30 seconds before they went back to sleepNever heard a peep from them from where we were sat until the 40th minute.
That fuckin wank backwards bounce at 3-0 against a championship side was just cringe
Pathetic.
I agree but FA Cup semi finals have all been played at Wembley (apart from when it was being rebuilt) going back to 1993 when we played the Oinkers there In the all Sheffield semi. The other semi that year was Arsenal v Spurs and the FA said that should be played at Wembley, which made sense with 2 London clubs, and our semi would be at Elland Road. Bearing in mind at that time the Blades had not played at Wembley since (probably) the 1936 Final which we lost to Arsenal, our supporters were desperate to see them play at Wembley. We felt it was totally unfair that the other semi was there and in any case we didn’t want to play at bloody Leeds cos it was Leeds and only had a much smaller capacity. There was a general outcry from our supporters (not sure about the Oinkers) and many of us wrote and complained to Ted Crocker then secretary of the FA. As a result the FA agreed to move the match to Wembley and so far as I know all FA semis have been there ever since -apart from when it was being rebuilt.Yeah I put a post about that on another thread, what’s the point for 2 northern clubs travelling down to London instead of a neutral ground nearby, ridiculous really.
Yeah I get your point mate, you can’t please everyone but I think especially in these uncertain financial times you’d hope the people in charge could have some common sense and keep it nearer to home… but then I suppose that sums up the state of this country and no one’s uses any sense for anything.I agree but FA Cup semi finals have all been played at Wembley (apart from when it was being rebuilt) going back to 1993 when we played the Oinkers there In the all Sheffield semi. That in a nutshell is why I didn't go. So as I said earlier, full respect to those that did and I thought the turnout was amazing considering cost/time to get there and back, previous history at Wembley and the fact we were playing City.Said the exact same today. Not everything in fairness.Sadly it meant everything to us and absolutely nothing to them.
Just went a bit behind him, didn’t it. Keeper also a bit lucky it didn’t fall to a United man.Ndiaye whacks that 2nd min shot in and it’s a different day.
