Should have taken Bogle off after red, put Baldock to RB and kept Robinson on at left back for his long throws
Bogles been off it for a while. Couple of great attacking performances earlier in the season but he can't defend for toffee.

Me

Give me the positives ?

We played as though we had 5 men not 10
The positives are that we were shading it until the sending off and the best team in the division only managed to score against our 10 men as a result of defensive errors.

You might be able to put it into context once you have sobered up, I’m guessing that’s the problem.

What

There are 10 people in this room watching this

We were shocking despite the sending off

Went into our shell and offered nothing

Awful
You are being silly.

When you have one less player for more than 70mins it isn't a good situation to be in.

Like playing a round of golf 15+ before you start.

If we'd gone for it and lost 6-0 I assume that would have been preferable?

Rubbish day at the office, but you can't legislate for the ridiculousness of individual errors.

We move on.

We were awful

You can build in every reason to contradict as you want

We aren’t 17th in the league - we are 2nd

We were a shambles

Fact

In the time 11 v 11 I thought we looked by far the more purposeful side by a long chalk.

What happened next was somewhat suicidal.

Main positive of the day is that if Boro are the main threat, then by dropping two points they have reduced our target for them at least from 10 points to 8 points.

Luton are still 5 behind and we have a game in hand on them. So target for them is 10.

Two tricky away games against teams fighting for their lives in Rotherham and Reading. Hopefully one of them or both do us a favour.

Blades we’re disappointing when you think the prize is premiership football, but the biggest lost tonight is our keeper missing for 3 matches.

You’re a sensible poster

We lost 1 player from the 15th minute and offered absolutely nothing from then on - we are 2nd in the table not 15th .

We couldn’t pass water

Our midfield offered nothing

We created not a squeak

Why ?

So come on then

Offer some insight

Manager got it wrong tonight. Sticking Norwood back in unbalanced the midfield. Doyle and Berge were pretty ineffective and there was no reason to change it. Playing Furious out of position worked against a poor Wigan side, was never going to work tonight so again, he got that wrong.

Can't really predict the sending off but we sat back and invited them on after that. It was all very predictable in the end, including the complete bollocks from the reserve keeper, who really is a fucking accident waiting to happen.

No need to panic though, pick the right team next game and we'll be home and dry.

Any tactics the manager had went out of the window when Wes decided to play left back.

I imagine McAtee was dropped to rest him for the more important game on Saturday, hence being Norwood back in.

If you’re not playing Baldock left back then who are you playing there?

Robinson

Clark at lCB

Not hard

So you’re playing someone in a position that they haven’t played for several seasons. And you’d obviously have no complaints if Hecky had done that and it still resulted in a defeat.

Yep. Clark for Bogle was the move to make. Probably the change to make even if we don't go down to ten men.
Bogle was clearly left on for pace and in fairness he was involved in most of our attacks. Just shit.
