It will put the cat among the pigeons if Luton beat Millwall on Friday as they have a very winnable game on Monday v Blackpool

Yes indeed, ideal scenario for me is that Millwall find form again and muller Luton, and Luton subsequently pick themselves up and scrape a draw with ‘Boro when they meet
and of course Burnley find their scoring boots again and tonk ‘Boro this Friday

Naturally we win all our remaining home games and it doesn’t really matter what anybody else does 😀
I do agree with you though that Luton may end up closer to us than ‘Boro in the shake up - but still behind us 😁

The positive with Luton is that due to GD, they’re effectively a point further behind.

If a team like Luton who've been no where near the top 2 all season finish above us..wow. No threat for me!

Hats off to the hatters for getting where they are but no way they go up
That style of play won't win you the play offs and they certainly won't catch us I expect them to slip up against a similarly basic but try hard side in Millwall

I get you Frank
looking at the run in I just think the hatters will get more points than ‘Boro
I agree with you about their style of football though

Millwall are wobbling a little bit though- Naarwich got their prestigious win early March and No eyebrows barmy army did them also at their place ( although they have recently done reading and the swans
I hope they do have a Good Friday though

If Wigan dont sell many tickets. with segregation let Blade fans in the lower tier been done before. Chesterfield when we won League one.

Absolutely no chance now, given we can’t even sell all the seats on the Kop.

I think Friday will be a real tipping point if we win. There will have to come a point where Boro and Luton start to focus on the play offs, resting players etc. The players themselves may also have one eye on keeping injury free and suddenly the performances drop off a fair bit.

It’s going to be very hard for Boro players and fans to get themselves up for the Burnley game in the evening 9 points adrift knowing in all likelihood beating the runaway leaders will count for very little.

I'd take a draw from that all day long.

Middlesbrough fans seem too have accepted its the play offs on their forum after Saturday.
That could all change though if we fail to beat Wigan on Friday or if they beat Burnley and we loose to Burnley on Monday.

Are Football fans the most fickle people on the planet 😆

Two draws for Millwall. Four points for Luton. Boro max two points over weekend.
Possible four, deffo three for Blades.

Yep, this point of the season seems to yield the daftest results. The loss at home to Reading last year as well as Leeds loss at home to 10 man Wigan in 2019 are games that spring to mind.

Win our 5 home games this month and we're home and dry with 2 games to spare. Partying with Warnock on 4th May at Huddersfield
