Spectacularly underwhelming new signings. Threadbare squad, back up are a set of untried kids, chairman who wants out, and has started asset stripping.

What could possibly go wrong?

Yes I was thinking of posting something similar, but then no doubt we'd get a Judgeagram advising we were all doomsters!

Interesting pattern. United and Wednesday in the 3rd tier Utd start brightly then fade, Pigs go up. next season Blades go down. History repeated? Who knows.

What is certainly likely is that United will struggle for a few momths because of the pof defeat. Many teams suffer this. One can only hope that by November we'll get into the groove and start climbing that table if indeed it unfolds as such.

Well, if you like to put things up strange men's bottoms I'm sure Darren could recommend a suitable venue for your peculiar proclivities. But no doubt a chap such as your good self is already familiar with all of said establishments. A regular back-door user, one might say.

He's got a good kick....................................come the end of this season, I think he'll prove to be about as popular as his predecessor.

By the way, has Simmo signed for anyone yet, or is he working as John Bishops stunt double?
 
Well I wouldn't read too much into todays result, or performance. For all the pre-match crap that's spouted, I doubt the precious little chickens could motivate themselves too much for a Mickey Mouse cup game just before the season starts. Sad because they're supposedly professional atheletes with a winning mentality, but true because they aren't good enough to play at half pace.

Not posted too much about next season because most of what I see is negative. I don't like the chairman, he's become a millstone. When we lost Ched we lost what made us better than other teams, a bloke who could win matches. I don't think we have that now, and that'll make us no better than a lot of teams and for that reason I can't see us steaming the league as some of you seem to think we will. Honestly, go through the squad and tell me why we're better than other teams. We have Quinn and Macca, and apart from that we're average.

I hope against hope that I'm wrong but I'm old, I've seen us like this before and I'm one of the few that didn't enjoy division 4, it was embarassing to be there and I don't want to go back. We've become stale and we need something fresh, it can only come in the form of a new chairmen with new ideas. Not going to labour the point because you've heard it all before but go on Blades, prove me wrong because I'm fucking sick of supporting a side that I constantly have to make excuses for.
 



I didn't go but I was amazed at the stats. Didn't we have something like 17 shots on target to their about 8 I think it was! How come we only scored two goals?
 
Although it's going to take a few weeks for it all to start gelling, I thought we were a little unlucky not to have won that game in normal time. From where i was sat, their keeper kept 'em in it.

I quick glance down todays "COC" cup results, and we weren't the only one's to lose out or run very close to teams "inferior" on paper......
 
Yesterdays result, two words will suffice............ phuckin disgrace.
