Some of you may be getting home to the latest from Bastion Tower in Brussels to tell you the assets now are officially owned by the plc. No mention of how much the rent will be in the seven lines, will it be token or eye watering I wonder ?

Couldn't you just have c and p'd the post from bladesmad ?

Well Im just wondering which Zany club Chairman we will soon be getting the thoughts of on this issue via Mic

I don't know how much the rent is, but their photocopier is shit. The print is all blurred, and they need to replace the toner as well.

Now now brownie, one thing at a time they did fix the fax machine this year :)

If we had gone up , say if Evans decision had been delayed and it hadnt gone awry ,I wonder if thered have been all this over heated moaning at everything McCabe does, surely hed done everything to get us up he could ,just kicking him because of circumstances beyond his control (cheds sloppy seconds misjudgement). Had we not been stripped of forwards at the finale wed be not having this thread

THE ASSETT STRIPPING THAT REALLY HIT US WAS LOSING CHED

Wee are now lumbered with greatly reduced income , due to nothing other than Evans brain being in his underpants, under the influence of alcohol

Yes because the problems at the club would have still existed. Regardless what league we was going to be in, KM would still money from player sales, we would still have to pay resnt to him, we would still have to live with previous, current and and future mistakes.

Until KM starts running united like one of his own companies, we have every right to moan

Whilst the team were doing well on the pitch last season, we didn't hear any of this.

Tinted glasses spring to mind as I def remember reading about it.

and how would you finance it different ,
income lower than expenditure
pray explain how you see other options , , without other investors

It's not about financing it, that a result of his mistakes in order to keep the club going. It's the other mistakes like hiring inadequate players / managers and giving them long contracts or on ridiculous wages (without any means of reducing this if we got relegated)

Put it this way, if you went up to him and asked for a job at his main company and there was better people out there to do the job, he wouldn't hire you and if he did, he wouldn't pay out the odds on your wages. Then there would be all the stuff like work performance which would affect your wage or bonus.

So McCabe should be interfering in who we buy now?
I would have thought the manager would be best doing that and working to a wage budget.

Sounds like Metal will be sorted

Yep... another arsehole of a thread.

Must still be the school holidays I guess :D:D:D
Lets hope it is a peppercorn rent eh, I could just imagine the adult debate if Whitehouse, Ironside and MacFadzean had to be sold to pay the rent.

I can't agree with that. There was anti McCabe sentiment even while we were in the Prem, and as we were relegated and have been pretty rudderless since I think a large degree of the moaning has been justified. Be honest, if it wasn't for Cheds goals last season we really wouldn't have been that good. We'd have been mid table, and that's probably where we deserved to be with the squad that we had. Oh and when Ched got banged up we still had time to do something about it, we didn't and that cost us big time. We were all suprised when he got a guilty but the club really should have done a bit more than loan an injured Will Hoskins to cover all the bases.

The pitiful financial state we're in has to go down to McCabe. He's supposedly a financial wizard when it comes to his businesses, yet he's watched our club sink into a very precarious position. Credit to him for doing the business in getting us to the Premiership but where we are now makes that seem like some distant dream.

Anyway, we've done this thread before a million times and I think we're all pretty entrenched in our views so time to back away and get ready for the season. Hopefully Cofie will hit the ground running and who knows, we might do it without the agony of the play offs if we're lucky.

You may be right on this however if Ched had kept his trousers on,he probably would have left in the summer before the season started and we would have received a small fee and saved on his wages. With this we may have brought in a couple of decent strikers and/or a back up defender.

Don't forget we won 5 out of the first six games witout Ched (I think !!)

Whilst we will miss Ched,I believe not keeping Willo will hit us nearly as hard

When he got banged up, how could we have done more?
