There seems to be a few different schools of thought here and it's very divisive so would be interesting to see how many are in each camp.

I agree with all your points except the last. The Premiership is better now than the first year we were in it, when several teams were reorganising. We're winning games, we continue to win we go up, simple as..
We've got injuries, and have had injuries all season to key players, I think the management are doing a fantastic job, as are the team.
I want a bit more from Sander Berge, other than that I have no complaints..
We are second in the table and it's completely in our hands...
Ps, I want us to go up so we can keep this squad together, the Premier league is shite, but we need it's money dont we.

Well said that mate we need that promotion this season for financial reasons I think it’s doneWith parachute payments coming to an end and no pot to piss in we must get promoted to survive (unless and until the new owner turns out to have deep pockets).
On that basis - winning no matter how bad the performances and getting up is existential.
They had more possession and shots yesterdayTeams just making their sole gameplan to stop us playing. Happens to all teams in contention and those who go up learn to grind it out.
Stats eh? Their goal counts as a shot when it wasn’t anything of the sort. They had more possession and shots yesterday
All I'm saying is they didn't set up solely to stop United playing. Do you think they did?Stats eh? Their goal counts as a shot when it wasn’t anything of the sort.
Absolutely.... Fluke cross..Stats eh? Their goal counts as a shot when it wasn’t anything of the sort.
You're right. They totally dominated the second half and showed real attacking intent. Since we decided on a policy of no more than 3 passes before conceding possession back to them, combined with a refusal to push up the field, we made them look a lot better than they are and could easily have conceded an equaliser and maybe even a winner. All I'm saying is they didn't set up solely to stop United playing. Do you think they did?
Spot on, exactly where I am mate..Was tempted to vote “we’re winning but performances are NOT good enough” but people need to understand the context.
In each game we have spells where we play great and in those spells we tend to score. We simply blow away the opposition and games become easy.
However once we’ve done the hard work we tend to take our foot off the gas and try to coast to a win. We are excellent at parking the bus. It’s not pretty but it’s very effective: Even when we’re under pressure we never really look like conceding.
However the real answer should “we’re winning and that’s enough”.
We need to remind ourselves we stand at the crossroads. We MUST return to the PL this season otherwise we’ll be forced to sell our best players and we will (at best) be one a mid table side for years to come.
There’s many different type of “fans”.So far we have the second best home record and the best away record in the Championship.
We have had endless injuries, mixed up the squad, players playing out of position.
Our games have turned on moments of quality, we have conceded silly goals, but that is football.
I struggle to understand why some of our fans can't cope with a not so great performance and accept the win.
The fans should focus on getting behind the team, home and away, give them the encouragement they need.
The fans can be the difference between getting the team over the line or not.
