I had a weird inkling to look at Palace.
What about this guy, David Omilabu?

We don’t need another right wing back.
But we are potentially looking for someone who has similar attributes to Khadra, someone who can play across the forward roles.
Without disturbing our own strikers we want to give games to, we could certainly accommodate an attacking player who can operate out wide at wing back to see what they might bring.
Palace had a game on Sunday afternoon in which he played 90 minutes. It isn’t implausible to then play Tuesday evening for us.
At 20, he’s a similar age profile to Khadra if only lacking that season of experience.
He’s played 3 EFL Cup games this season, assisting in one of them vs Swindon and played in 5 last season, also assisting in one of them against Wimbledon.
He had a very impressive scoring rate in the U18s, more than a goal per game. In the U21s he’s gone from 2 goals and 3 assists in 26 appearances last season to 4 goals and 4 assists in 11 this season.
I’ve no insight if it is him. But he would seem to fit the profile. A loan move would appear to be the obvious next step for him. He has already featured in Cup games for his club. He’s unlikely to get a chance of senior football at Palace this season. He’s got an upward trajectory and isn’t a teenager anymore. He’s also unlikely to be on wages that would be prohibitive.
Look at his U18 profile. Is this not exactly the type of player we’d be looking at?
I can’t for one minute claim to be the Colleen Rooney of the forum but I could well imagine a player of this nature might come into our thoughts.
