Such a predictable response to last night
Macatee was far more effective than khadra last night but hes getting wrote off and yet another litany of excuses trotted out for the modern day john francis because people get excited when someone runs fast

I thought McAttee did sweet FA last night, as most games he's played. Just not strong enough against a team giving us little room to play in. No offence just my opinion..

McAtee was on the pitch for 60 minutes, Khadra was on for 10. I'd have been extremely surprised if Khadra had been more effective. That isn't an argument against those saying that Khadra had some good moments.

He was one of our biggest attacking threat? One great ball across the box and two decent runs. Defensively, he's poor but was more threat than any of the other midfielders

Khadra has an unpredictability which made him ideal for a longer spell last night. Was plainly obvious that we weren't going to pass our way through them so it made more sense, to me at least, to run at them out wide. Baffling why he was held back until the last 10-15.

He is by far a better option than Sharp at the moment.

Redha Khadra is our only player apart from Ndiaye , who is prepared to run at defences , take on & beat a defender - exactly what was needed last night , but Hecky couldn't see it till far too late.
Should have put them both in wide attacking roles much earlier.

Khadra beat his man a few times and whipped some dangerous balls into the box. One nearly produced a goal.

I wasn't as down on McAtee's performance as others but what did he do that you thought was effective, over and above Khadra?
He ran from the halfway line into their box if running forward is your only criteria
Id have to disagree with your interpretation of dangerous crosses
Your team mates dont lose their shit with you when youve been putting it on a plate for them

Some of you are just seeing what you want to see with khadra and cutting him an awful lot of slack fot some pretty shite performances

Oh I dunno he caused more deep defending panick around the 6 yard area by trying to get behind the defender on three occassions in ten minutes - he should have been given at least 25 minutes - why Sharp and Basham were used first doesn't make sense Hecky knew it wasn't working from minute 2, he said that. So we change nothing unless we have to and start going long Norwood has to drop deep for the ball as do our strikers it was obvious that we needed someone to run at them and under the circumstances nothing to lose by throwing Arlblaster on for the last thirty with Khadra

Hecky's in-game management is too often below the standard required.

I would imagine his club.will have noticed what's going on and want him to be somewhere he is going to get meaningful game time.

We usually have more than one striker on the bench and youngsters Jebbo and Brooks were picked ahead of him.

Hard to see a way back for him after that interview. Pity I had high hopes for the lad. UTB

Thought Khadra was in his final year at Brighton, so they have nothing to gain from his development.
The only aspect where Brighton might be bothered is if the loan deal says we pay bigger % of his wage the more he plays.

Doesn't look good for Khadra or our club when we have a PL loanee who is fit but can't even make the 7 man bench,
especially when we have so many attacking options (McBurnie and Brewster) out injured.

Logic suggests his days are numbered and we should look at other loan options in January23.

he will go back to brighton imo expect blackburn to be back in for him mind his salary would get us a decent striker on loan

I seem to remember we are contractually obliged to buy him for an already agreed fee if we are promoted. This could get messy  UTB

Didn’t Leeds have one of them in the Covid year. They didn’t want him so tried to contest it by saying they weren’t promoted at the end of June so the clause wasn’t valid. Think they lost.

Might as well get rid

PH clearly doesn't fancy him to say the least

To give him such incredibly limited opportunity does not add up with how hard we tried to sign him and committed to a permanent clause. It indicates some kind of extreme surprise/disappointment - shocking attitude? It's very bizarre

Use the funds and space to bring someone else in

...if he plays a certain number of games/minutes. I doubt he's anywhere near that.

I think it was likely more an option to buy if he meets those milestones with a potential fee agreed already.

So disappointed with him, same scenario with Slav, everybody wanted him but for some reason or another it hasn’t worked. Clearly a good player there as Blackburn supporters will testify, game plans, attitude, training attitude, who knows what went wrong, only hecky etc knows, the rest is speculation, move on as a striker is imperative for the next push. Unfortunately my personal choice is priced at £20 million and will hit the premium league in January (Gyorkes)
