Norwich are just embarrassing

Very irritatingly, I can find a tantalising bit of this but not the whole thing.

If I Google "Sheffield United Kanu David Seaman" I get a link to an Google Books page with the following line quoted "Arsenal keeper David Seaman offered to let United score directly from the..."

However, when I click on the link, the page in question (the one for 13th February) doesn't load properly although most of the other pages do.

https://books.google.co.uk/books?id=jqnq0hIia0cC&pg=PA46&lpg=PA46&dq=David+Seaman+Sheffield+United+Kanu&source=bl&ots=yy6mBQdJEo&sig=ACfU3U19OPswZYoKV-oI6SiJr4Jg6-0RHA&hl=en&sa=X&ved=2ahUKEwjDy4TNhpv8AhUTnVwKHQwsBK4Q6AF6BAgjEAM#v=onepage&q=David Seaman Sheffield United Kanu&f=false

The snippet provided certainly backs up what I remember reading a while back, which is that Seaman wanted to allow us to score one back straight away but it wasn't allowed for whatever reason.

Edit: Oh hang on, that posted link fixed it.

"Arsenal keeper David Seaman offered to let United score directly from the Kick off, but the referee threatened to send the entire home team off if that happened".
That's nonsense thought.

Under what premise could the ref send the whole team off.

He can't just do what he wants, he is also bound by the rules of the game.

Sounds like a load of tosh. It's what they should have done.

12 mins or so away from a replay at BDTBL it was hardly that generous to give yourself another 90 minutes at Highbury!

Dean Smith didn't know what to do or say with Chris Wilder not currently in management. Waiting to see who Wilder bid for and then offering a million more and £1000 a week more, says the same things Wilder did the previous week. So without his superiour around couldn't operate.
Also wanted Bielsa to "give a goal back" and the hypocritical bastard not doing the same when they were in an even more clear cut position was a disgrace. Good riddance.

We should have told them to stick it

Norwich have been play acting and time wasting before Smith arrived in fairness but he's clearly not stamped it out either. I thought Smith looked like a very promising manager when he was at Walsall but he appears to be on his way down now. Can see him ending up at a run of the mill Championship side next but teams are increasingly going for younger options these days. This is also a problem for Wilder of course, another who may well require to manage a fairly average club next.

Forgive me if memory fails me but I seem to remember the first time I lost it with Norwich was when Alex Neil was in charge. Time wasting, injury feigning twats, only rivalled for me by Bournemouth's display at the Lane a couple of years ago under Mr Howe.

Norwich and Bournemouth are 2 clubs I would love to see crash, burn and cease to exist for those very reasons.

The first time I got blog on with Norwich was years ago, when Mark Bowen was playing for them and went in the newspaper shitting all over Bassett and our style of play, as it wasn't football to be proud of "etc"

Needless to say we beat them that game, no roof on kop and Bassett getting trampolined on that big flag in front of the kop to the cheers of... Football bowen.. Football bowen.. 😂😂

They've always thought themselves bigger than they were, at least Ipswich have some dignity, and a major European trophy... 😂😂😂😂 Who's wank now...

Apparently norwich have no money for compensation so cant speak to already employed bosses
Which will mean they have no money for transfers so id be surprised if bruce takes the job or wilder

Incidentally west brom have had to take out a loan of 20 m to cover costs which has set alarm bells ringing across their fan base
I think we are starting to see the cold hard financial realitys of the huge financial gap between the prem and the rest
Never be a better time for us to go up but thats not how it works is it ?
It does however show the huge presssures some of our rivals are under ( as are we admittedly )
