Thought id post something positive after a depressing read through the forum this morning

Didnt enjoy that second half and hecky is stressing me out with his decision making during the 90 minutes but if we can keep picking up wins and widening the gap until our big hitters are fit then surely thats a positive

Agree with this. We may have made hard work of it, but thought they sussed us pretty well with playing into space behind Stevens and to a lesser extent Baldock.

I think the last two games have been two of the best results of the season - straight after the break, a few players coming back in and both potential banana skins. Last night had a little more pressure as we played after everyone else so we had to put a decent performance in against a side at the bottom with a new manager

In the past, perhaps earlier this season we may have slipped up

Thought we did well and I’d say it was a professional performance

Our left hand side was giving me kittens. Once they stopped trying to play risky passes out from the back, they were getting joy twatting it over Steven’s head down their right. Hecky was slow in sorting that side out, but I feel so much better with the options off bench now. Not many sides can bring players of the calibre as McBurnie and Doyle off the bench.

We absolutely must contingency plan for the January window. If we keep this squad together I think we go up, but if we lose 1-2, we need to have replacements lined up. Particularly upfront, lose Ndiaye and not only do we miss his quality, but we suddenly look short of numbers.

Lets hope Burnley repeat 2001
