The only saleable player we have is Ndiaye and if we sell him we'll get relegated so our best hope for January is that we find a way to shift out Khadra & possibly Clark , bring back Osula + loan a LCB whose hammy won't bust.
If we could also loan a CM that moves more than as traffic cone we could pay off Fleck get him out of my sight.

Yes and I also understand there is a transfer list 👍
Wtf are you smoking ?
Is placing Brewster on a list going to repair his hamstrings which bust on a regular basis ?
Who is going to buy an overweight non-scoring striker with dodgy hamstrings ?
We are stuck with him for years mate

Oh, so we've never sold a player who's had a bad injury record with us?
We've never bought a player who's had a bad injury record?

That's not how football works buddy, there will be a club willing to take him. Get him off our wage bill and bring someone else in. Will we get anywhere near 23m? No. But that's a reality we all knew a long time ago.

I hope Wednesday come in for him.

Striker if Jebbo gets fit and goes out on loan. Doesn’t necessarily need to be a starter but an experienced pro with plenty of nouse preferably a taller player to cover for Mcburnie.

CM we’re a body light in that department I think and it would enable us to loan out the youngsters in that position that probably need a loan.

Seriously I don't think we need anyone in Jan. Defence Clark Egan anel wingbacks baldock lowe midfield Norwood Doyle berge attack ndaiye mcburnie. Send mcatee and khadra back and loan a striker or 2 in the mould of a madine or Hogan who can chip in with a few goals in the run in.

100% need a midfielder

I think we'll do very little and if that means no outgoings that will be a success.

If we can get anywhere near this then we're up:

Wes
Anel Egan Robinson
Bogle Norwood Doyle RND
Berge N'Diaye
McBurnie

Davies, Baldock/Basham, Lowe/Clark, Fleck/Coulibaly, McAtee/Khadra, Brewster/Jebbison, Sharp

Desperately need a RWB, if Baldock is out we're screwed . A destroyer/ box to box type in midfield that allows us to play two up top; once again last night we saw that we don't have the personnel to change shape. Depending on Brewster a striker. I think Brewster and Khadra become much more useful to us in an out and out front two with Ndiaye or Mcatee in behind. They can't play the loan frontman role or the ten/striker.

Wouldn't be surprised if a deal is already in place for the Canadian lad in midfield? It's an area we need to improve and ultimately find a long term successor to Fleck. It ideally needs a permanent transfer. I'd love for us to go all out for Doyle as he can be a mainstay for years to come but not sure if that's achievable on our budget. We could then bring in a loan to provide competition.

Baldock has a ridiculous temper , yet another daft intervention by him last night , I worry he'll see red soon.
Hecky must keep on top of discipline.

Fleck is no use to us , he was hiding all last night.

Despite all the doubts and persistent injury problems I am being positive and looking forward to January 2023.
Foderingham
Bogle
Ahmedhodzic
Egan
RND
Lowe
Berge
Norwood
Doyle
Ndiaye
McBurnie.

If this side can’t get us promoted, we are stuffed.
If we don’t get promoted, the club will have to hope that our academy can fulfill some good potential.

We still have a few useful types on the books to keep the bench warm, and loads of potential in the academy.
Why spend money we haven’t got, when the starting line up is so talented? Wait and see what happens in May, or support another club with a wealthy, free spending owner!

Ndiaye.... plus berge, bogle, lowe, Foderingham, anel, rnd, jebbison, Mcburnie.

I'll jinx it now, but Baldock is the most aggressive player that never(?) gets sent off. It's scary but it's great.

RE people wanting to sell Brewster/cancel his contract etc... Let me cast your mind back two months to when most people wanted to get rid of McBurnie (who's now a vital player).

Oh ye of little faith. Brewster can and will come good. He's done pretty well under Hecky, when fit.

Physicality, pace, ability in midfield. Two centre forwards.
You could have cut and pasted that from any of the last half dozen windows. We still have several players from the wilder era who need moving on. Fleck hasn't played well for years, Enda, Bash and probably Billy and Norwood too are not the players they once were.

As with everything, it all depends on current injuries.

I am not confident that Bogle, Brewster or Berge will be available again and fully fit by January.

If not we will need cover for each position.

We were sold a £23m pup with Brewster - we are feckin stuck with the useless injury prone fecker till the end of his expensive contract - please stop reminding me of our catastrophic purchase.
CW's Golden child ffs,I wonder who else WAS offered to him as a alternative, after all SANDER was found by Vanwinkles team or whatever his name

Agreed - all the club can do is take stock of the injuries in January + try to ensure each position has appropriate cover. It's far too early to think about acquisitions.
But if Clark's hamstring has gone again by January , it might be worth seeing if he can be sent back but only if a fitter replacement can be borrowed.

Yeah scored loads

Hard to see a scenario in which the Prince signs off on many signings coming in when we can't look after the players we have.
Our squad should have enough to do it but half of them are all constantly out injured. You couldn't blame him for not wanting to throw good money after bad.

We have enough in the goalkeeping department and in defence (so long as Bogle makes a fast / strong recovery).

We're short at the base of midfield.
Fleck struggles and Doyle seems more suited to playing in advanced areas. That leaves only Norwood at the level we need.
Getting some athleticism and physicality in this position would be the best place to allocate some funds to immediately improve the first team and give us the best chance at promotion. The player would need to be an instant upgrade on our options.

Attacking midfield we should be ok but are vulnerable to players leaving.
Berge or Ndiaye could be sold and Khadra could walk. Provided nobody does leave, stick with what we have.

Up front.
It would be great to get some cover in but who is going to want to come and play second / third fiddle? Nobody on a loan and I don't think we have the money to do a permanent.

So, one midfielder is all I think we need provided we hold onto our assets.

Likely:
Khadra
Clark

Sent back

We replace those with two new loanees

Hope Berge and Ndiaye dont receive offers we cannot refuse

As for Brewster - who takes him??
