Is where some of our fans deserve to be.

It's like listening to the whining of Liverpool or Man U fans.

As soon as we lose a game, sack the manager. Lose 2 and that chant doubles.

So much single use plastic.

All managers have bad spells. We have an injury crisis. It's fair to criticise but come on. Join reality.
Bang on.
It isn't just balanced criticism with these people though. They can't wait to start spitting venom.
At the moment the players need the fans behind them. Not easy given some of what's happening, but people need to step up.

It’s fair to highlight the injury crisis as one the reasons for our dip in form, but the side that entered the field last night was more than good enough to put in a decent performance and beat what is a rubbish Coventry side.

It simply was not good enough from the players and the manager.

The rubbish Coventry side which tore a better team apart last season?

The rubbish Coventry side whose form is: P6 W3 D2 L0 F3 A1 5 clean sheets in 6. That rubbish Coventry side?

It has been both ways this season. Some of the ridiculous hyperbole when we've been doing well is as bad as when we do badly.

It's like there's a minority of our fans who have to be at an extreme, all the time.

Having watched the Blades for over 60 years this is just another blip on our smooth journey to permanent Prem status! We are now in the same position as we were when I first started going in 1959 - 4th in the second tier. Having seen the Blades in the old Div 4 I have seen far worse than this last few weeks, disappointing as it is but cannot recall in all that time the level of injuries that we are having to manage. I didn't see last night's match but I never like to see us set up to defend and cannot undertsand keeping Bewster and Khadra on the bench. But what do I know! Just hope we get out of the injury crisis soon.

I have listened to Hecky's post match comments and they reveal some muddled thinking.
Kept McB on despite carrying injury.
I have to give Billy minutes in case McB breaks down , wtf ?
No explanation why didn't bring on Khadra & Brewster + go for win.
No explanation of why bring on half-fit Fleck.
No explanation why have Osborn at LWB instead of JLT.
The guy is losing the plot.
Forget the injuries , the tactics are very negative for a club that spent the first 10 games on the front foot.
I am concerned by his apparent lack of insight into a performance like last night - I'm not in the kneejerk "sack him" crowd - and the club are never gonna do that anyway , having given him a 5 year contract - but I think the injuries are clouding his judgement as to how to play + motivate the guys who are actually on the pitch. And his ingame subs are not helping.
He + the players have got to stop feeling sorry for themselves + get into a positive frame of mind.

Are you that positive well-spoken Blade who often appears on Praise or Grumble?

Good thread this mate. I'm not sure I'm overly convinced by Heckingbottom and the fact all the comments about him from Barnsley, Leeds and Hibs fans when he got the job (you'll have a great start then the multiple injuries kick in) have quickly come true, worries the shit out of me. He's clearly either incredibly unlucky or doing something wrong.

But, it's effectively a bad 3 weeks, and it's not a cop out to say it's because of an injury crisis, when it's because of a bloody injury crisis!! It's not just who is missing, it's the balance.

And it's also (I've read the fact our starting XI last night was only 2 different from the start of the season) that he's having to play half fit players. Yes pro sportsmen always carry knocks; but some of these have turned out for us when under normal circumstances they'd be (at least a couple of) weeks off- Bogle, Osborn, Fleck, maybe Billy, Anel. And others turning out injured like McBurnie. No wonder we're underperforming.

It's not just who is missing, it's the balance.
It's a huge point that I think often gets overlooked. Ignore what players are out but it's how they play as a team. We're successful because the team is more than the sum of the parts. We haven't got world class individual players, but they know what they're meant to be doing at all times.

I feel the opposite, some fans lost the run of themselves a few weeks back and now have had a dose of reality. We're an OK to decent Championship side, nothing more.
Agreed at present, but at full strength we are the best in the league.

View points from some fans are very fickle these days and also polar, lose and it’s a catastrophe, win the following week and it’s euphoria. Already there are managers who have lasted just a bit longer than Prime Ministers this season, but I think this season will only really get going after the World Cup. Did draw the conclusion last night that Coventry fans look to be by far the best booers, boy did they do some booing.

As usual, someone like you chooses to insult and degrade people calling for Hecky to go. Also, talking you are talking rubbish. Says a lot about you as a person.

Are you even a fan of the football club who calls for a manager to go after 5 bad results in the middle of an injury crisis when he had previously taken them to the top of the league?
