..who can we get to replace him? And who, even in division 3, would want to buy him?
He was at fault today for the opening goal, flapping like a fish as the ball flew past him.
We have had, surprisingly, some great keepers here down the years, but this guy is a truly dodgy keeper and must go .Does anyone know a decent replacement for him?

Unless I'm missing the point, we've brought in Howard and Simmo's contract is up in the Summer ?

Indeed. But all I know about the man is his name and the fact he can't yet be picked ahead of Simonsen. Doesn't bode well. :)

Someome mentioned Jussi Jaskerwhatshisname at Bolton. Sat getting splinters and contract about up. Not sure we could afford him or he'd even want to come though. maybe Tommy Lee over at the sheep shaggers now they've gone down maybe? I just know nearly every goalie I've seen home and away looks infinitely more competent than Simmo.

Simmo had no chance for the 1st goal(scored by a player who should have been flagged offside,,,we were bang in line with it)) but should have parried the equaliser round the post instead of back into play

Disagree. First goal he was flapping like a fish out of water at a shot he shoulda saved.
Second goal he made a right save and some punk headed in a rebound.
I should know i watched it twenty times or so.

Wow, you watched it 20 or so times probably from an angle from the half way line...that doesn't mean you are right.

Nor does it mean you are right.
And he`s the worst keeper to play regularly at the lane since the 1970s. Without a doubt.

since Derek Richardson in fact. how many games have you thought.. 'wow.. keeper won us the game'.. in a game of 46 matches it should have happened at least 'once'.. it hasn't .. our defence has been our achiles heel this season.. every game we win 3-1 or 4-2. never one nil, two nil.. usually having been a goal down. now that our strikers are decimated we simply can't keep going a goal down and coming back because they aren't there to bail us out of the shit

I give you Richardson.Johns,Leaning, Goram, Tomlinson,Bunn,Conroy,Kite

and I can assure you, after watching it live and now on TV,Simmo wasn't at fault for the first goal, but he was for the 2nd

in answer to your question-when simmonsen goes-
the flags will be flown in our house.
people are pissed of with beattie money grabbing-same goes with this twat for me,he`s a woeful keeper.

Luke McCormick is not far off finishing his prison sentence.

Wonder if he has still got his football ability, and the biggest question would be would the fans accept him?

Mark Bunn was a far , far better keeper than Simonsen. And furthermore i couldnt care who was at fault for either goal. Simonsen is a walking disaster zone.

Hmm not sure about that. He went down for shots in installments.. Simmo's not good enough though, either way

With respect, from the time of his penalty save home to peterborough in Nov 2009, Bunn began to play better and better.

Spent most of last week running over in my head the last minute of injury time at Orient when Simmo came running out of his goal (there was no need, there were defenders there to clear it) and limp wristed it straight to their forward. Another two points down the pan thanks to Simo, add that to two dropped points v pigs, two v Exeter at home (if we had a decent keeper Wilson wouldn't have had to throw a kid in). We'd have walked promotion without Simmo.

We've been in the third tier all season, where one or two have looked more than competent, take a punt on one of them. Thought the Colchester keeper looked sound.

Don't agree with Tomlinson being on that list. Always thought he was a decent keeper.
