Deeney

[Ndiayewillalwaysloveyou]

Fair play today, had banter with fans on SS and at full time he swapped his shirt with Berge and gave it to a young blade. Always thought he was a cock but that's decent from him

[Champagneblade]

I thought at the time that Watford went down previously that it wouldn't have been the worst deal for United to have tried to loan Deeney for a decent fee rather than pay the money for Brewster or even if we'd got Brewster with him being so young still possibly considering a loan swap with them, giving him a full season playing.

Things have moved on but I think he's a decent guy and a good example that even if you go off the rails you can still reset yourself and become a role model.

He reminded me a lot of Davis for Forest (now watford) last season today. Egan struggled with Deeney, he won every flick on & took his goal really well.

[Katzenjammer]

Always liked him. He has the sort of character you'd love if he was in your team.

[Mojo]

Had our defense on toast today tbf couldn't handle him at all

[RWE]

Thought he bullied us all game today. Was pleased when he went off.

[Davalon]

Saw this. Made me wonder if a fan had asked him to get in jest or hope.

Top man.

[3Cheers4Ramirez]

Did he give the shirt to a "can I have your shirrrrrt" wanker or not?

If he did - Deeney bad

If he didn't - Deeney good

[Overthehills]

Deeney for me Is a quality player at this level for anyone. He’s hybrid…. With the qualities of an old fashioned CF, with a degree of athleticism and technical ability as well.

Hopefully gave it to the kids next to the kids with the board

[3Cheers4Ramirez]

Can't work out if he's a genuinely decent bloke or just on a relentless crusade to convince everyone he is

You were correct.
He is an utter cock.

Think it was Jude Bellingham who did that

Sent him up in my estimation. England's top CM

[FreePaulRodgers]

Said at kick off
U do know who hasn’t scored this season
So he’s a cert to get one …..
?

[Frank the tank]

Just another example of Egan shifting it against a big man

[Old Programme seller]

I always get the feeling that he is a great bloke but misunderstood I like him but that me.

[Inter_blade83]

Love him, was my top scorer at 2018 world cup as my England team brought football home.(FM)

[Houston_Blade]

Egan will be seeing Deeney in his nightmares tonight

[Red Wing Blade]

Deeney was so dominant in the air today. Everytime Ruddy launched it long he won it. It didn't matter if he was marked by one or two players, he won it. Sometime Ruddy blasted it to him but out wide. Deene ran wide and still won it. His flick ons from them were also very good. Egan played well in keeping him contained when the ball was on the deck, but in the air Deeney won most of their battles. We'll call it a 1-1 draw between those two as Egan played very well today.

[Ainsley Harriott]

Reyt ugly bastard

[Kev Gee]

If he played for us he would be a cult hero.

Good player.

[dc_blade]

Possibly not cut out for management.
