Thanks Roy, I've had the misfortune of being in the Birmingham away end when they played Leeds Utd and they are absolute nutters wasn't really by choice I was chaperoning the missus and her Brummie fan mate. They were trying to rip up seats and all sorts. Few managed to scramble over into the Leeds bit. It was quite scary as when we left some Leeds fans managed to get to the concourse overhang and were throwing bottles, coins etc. Stewards managed to shield us to safety.

When we played Brum in the FA Cup a few years back they were given the BLUT and did their best to get at the south stand to start trouble.

Bunch of nasty bastards. If they deserve any kind of 'special treatment' as regards allocations, it would be a reduced allocation in the BLLT, not more tickets. Fuck em.

Brum fans always seem to have a gloomy outlook on life strange how as reading that view from I had a Jasper Carrot voice in my head, a bloke who's whole career has been based on being a miserable brummie with a really dark humour. Same with music from that part of the world too.

Tough game this one, no Anel, and the other latest injuries, and our notoriously poor starts after international breaks, add in Berge paying 2 x 90 mins.

1-1 draw.

Cheers Panchero!

It was a fair few years ago but I'm certain when I went St Andrews they stuck us on the bottom tier. What's the prats issue with it?

Really not much there besides a couple comments about the chances and the rest moaning about the allocation.

Consider Birmingham a decent championship team in general if we can hit the ground running after the break and get another decent win I think that will set the lads right up for the stint of games before the break. If we can go in to the break with a gap between us and 2nd that would be marvelous

We haven't got a particularly sparkling record against them at Bramall Lane. Last win was 2-1 in 2009 and we've drawn twice and lost one since then. We also lost 4-0 in the FA Cup 10 years ago.

Thanks Roy, a bit thin on comments, but they do seem to be lacking interest. Their last 10 year record probably the cause. Hope the break hasn't affected us, 6 points from the next 2 home games should see us sitting pretty, 5+ points clear. Roll on Wednesday morning!

I have seen us beat them on TV, but never live. They are a bogey team for me. I think it’s 7 or 8 games.

I remember back around 1976, we went down to division 2, brum at home last game and a night match.
Drew 1:1, they stayed up. They had about 10k in the ground, lots of fighting on the Shoreham end and outside the ground.

Birmingham always strike me as a nothing club, it’s like they ought to be big being called Birmingham City but they’re just not. I guess living in Villa’s shadow for that long just erases you into oblivion - a bit like what we’re starting to do with that lot down the road.

I see BCFC on par with clubs like Ipswich, Millwall, Blackpool, Huddersfield, Preston etc. just a bit shit.

Like one of em says, where would they move our ST holders to? I don't understand it tbh. You get what you're given.
That wasn’t one of theirs, it was me !

I saw them moaning and registered just to post that 😂

I’ve been quoted on Roy’s view from !!!

“Which stand should the Sheffield United season ticket holders be removed from to accommodate the Blues?”

I had no idea that was a Blades fan

I remember around 1984-85 time, a match on Saturday but it was very dark after the match.
There was quite a lot of fighting in the side streets off The Moor after the match, also quite a lot of police around too.
Their fans were wearing them Patrick light blue and dark blue cagoule jackets.

Agree....their claim to fame is that apart from Bristol City, Hull and Plymouth they are historically the shittiest performing club out of all the decent sized big city clubs.
However Bristol, Hull and Plymouth aren't traditional football areas where Birmingham is and all their rivals Villa, WBA and Wolves have seen plenty of success.

Ipswich were fantastic in the 70's, always one of the best teams in England.
Millwall never done anything but Blackpool, Huddersfield and Preston at least have some history of having a good team in the top flight challenging for honours.

Our record since the war is really poor but before the war....especially before the 1st world war we were challenging for honours too.
Whereas Birmingham have never done anything of note in their entire history....apart from being in 2 league cup finals and winning it one year.
However regards being in the top flight their best ever position is 6th and they've rarely finished in the top 10.

Where as we have been league champions once and finished in the top 10 of the top flight as recently as only 3 years ago under Wilder.

I remember walking down the Moor to that game with my mate and Brum fans were all over, one came running down Cambridge St with a copper in hot pursuit just as he got to the Moor the copper did a superb rugby tackle on him and dropped him to the deck harder than wrestler Big Daddy doing the splash ................ he didn't get up by himself he was proper phucked up and bleeding from the road rash. 🤣

We're on an unbeaten run but also arguably much weaker now, and with the international break, out of our stride. We don't know what the lineup will look like.

I hope they don't get all Chongy on us like they did last season.

Cheers Roy, great work as always!👍

Let's hope we can roll them over and keep up the good work weve been seeing.
Fingers crossed the injuries dont hold us back!!🤞

I remember going to Birmingham and there supporters were above us.
They were throwing coins down on us and quite a few of our supporters had
nasty injuries. The stewards did absolutely nothing to stop them.

This lot are 17th, behind both Preston and Swansea. We're at home - no negativity please!!
3 points - in the bag....
