I am not in the camp that Berge is the messiah to the road to the Premier league. Number of times i have watched frustrated
when he goes missing in games or turns the wrong way ie always right as he is not capable of going left sided.

The touch to Illi for his goal against Reading is a case re the point ie Berges run where he could have had loads of space to shoot and run to goal on his left side but as he can
only turn right he missed opportunity or didnt have confidence and passing across to Illi was his choice.

Now £20m for Berge to be replaced by a £5m young international is a good bit of business. This allows Heck to renegotiate a couple of contracts and pay more dosh
for Ndjai s contract and have money for January window should reinforcements be needed with more injuries. Maybe a Fleck upgrade ?

Just out of interest how many times have you seen this young international play too be able to judge it a good bit of business.

It's poor business. How is an unknown 20 year old from the Canadian league a replacement for the Rolls Royce that is Sander Berge? It's that's kind of defeatist mentality that has left our trophy cabinet bare.

No one has said that Berge is the finished product, but he is a cut above other midfielders in this division. It's not coincidence that SB's skill is a vital cog in the way this team plays.....plus he can be a delight to watch, so what's not to enjoy?
He’s fucking brilliant. Has been superb all year.

Hecky has surrounded SB with good quality and given him more room to be more effective. Certainly one of the best we've had for a decade or two.
Over the last few years we've had some decent players, Paul Coutts comes to mind, but Sander, if we get promoted and he shows he can cut it in the Prem has the quality to excel.....it's a 'let's see' moment but credit where credit's due, we owe Wilder a lot for pursuing this guy.

It’s the in drink for the Kop quaffers. . They moan about the queues for fosters but never about that.
The club should make anyone that kicks off at the match drink a pint of that fucking Neck Oil shit they sell. Tastes like I'd imagine fly spray would be like in liquid form. Definitely the worst thing I've ever had in my mouth. Can't speak for everyone on the Kop, though.
