It’s called a simile and it adds descriptiveness, he could have said Norwood played like a tight head prop but you wouldn’t have understood the point as well.

That was my impression at the game. Looked at it again and Sander is also dragging his man to the front post. I've read on here that McB has said that wasn't the plan but maybe he's taking lessons off Hecky in handling the media.
