His price is as high as it'll ever be now and we need cash to pay the installments on the original fee. He'll be sold, 100%. Just hope the new lads get up to speed quickly enough for his departure to not cause too much disruption.

Possibly. Another year older, 1 year of contract left - who knows. The bean counters at the club will not want to gamble and will want/need hard cash I feel.If he had a season of games like Saturday, let's say he scored 10-15 and assisted something similar... even going into the final year of his deal, would his price really drop that significantly? If there were 2/3 interested parties I think the figures would be within 25%. And we'd have given ourselves a massive chance of promotion in the meantime.
1. He did celebrate his goal.To be fair to CaptainMorgans i too noticed that his goal celebration was a bit subdued. I don’t think anything was being made of it per se. And CaptainMorgans corrected himself which is the opposite of bad form I’d say.
That's why I don't think he will.Would say a lot about his own ambitions if he goes back to Belgium, that'd be a really poor move.
I think if any club came in from one of the top 4 leagues then he'd soon be off but I agree - can't see it being Belgium. It's a couple of half-decent sides and the rest made up of League One standard. That's why I don't think he will.
If no decent PL or Bundesliga club come in, he'll stay
I agree with that. To be clear, it was a momentary “hmm, seems a bit subdued in that celebration”. I wasn’t conducting a forensic investigation into his mental state!1. He did celebrate his goal.
2. He was smiling.
3. It was a shite knee slide celebration.
5. He's a cool Scandinavian, he doesn't do emotional!
5. It took his team mates an age to get there to celebrate with him! Where had they been???
6. What a player he's becoming.
7. If we sell him it'll be the worse decision since sold Jan Åge Fjørtoft!
8. We need to go all out to keep him.
Hecky said the other day that the club can't afford to bring in some cover for Furious at RWB - if that's true and they are so short of money , Berge will be sold if the bid meets valuation.
It explains why Khadra , McAtee & Doyle have been brought in.
And next summer we will have virtually no midfield players in contract.
.... which is why anyone going overboard praising Utd for this transfer window should calm down a bitAnd next summer we will have virtually no midfield players in contract.
Or, & hear me out on this, maybe keeping Berge is more crucial to our promotion chances than signing what will in 2 months time be a 3rd choice RWB.Hecky said the other day that the club can't afford to bring in some cover for Furious at RWB - if that's true and they are so short of money , Berge will be sold if the bid meets valuation.

We have to stick to the price we have on his head.!PL scouts will have been watching him today. Expect increased bids for him
Message to board: Tell them to fk off

In order to cover the loss in revenue and operating losses, who would you sell if you want to keep Berge and Jebbison?Keep.
None of the above. In order to cover the loss in revenue and operating losses, who would you sell if you want to keep Berge and Jebbison?
Surely not Ndiaye?!?
None of the above.
Balls out, and double down on promotion. YEE-HA!!
Championship is probably the 5th biggest league in Europe.Wouldn’t see the point and as I’ve said before the whole ‘Champions League team’ is a load of bollocks.
Fola Esch from Luxembourg are a Champions League team. They got knocked out by Lincoln Red Imps from Gibraltar last year. They’re a Champions League team. They in turn lost to Skupi of North Macedonia. They can all claim to be 'Champions League teams.
Unless they are a team that is going to compete in the group stages regularly and occasionally get to the knock out stages what is the point in having to out up with a lower level league playing in front of small support each week?
Look at the gates in the championship this weekend. Bigger than most leagues in Europe.
The whole 'Champions League club' is a total misnomer. We'll never compete in the Champions League but we're bigger than probably 80% of the teams that enter it.
That's not me being cocky. It's stating fact. We just happen to be based in a country where there are a lot of big clubs. Not sure moving to be a big fight in a smaller pond is really what Sander's next move should be.
I'm sure if you give a footballer the option of challenging for silverware in Belgium or Portugal and playing in the Champions League or playing for Birmingham or Swansea, I can guess which one they choose.Championship is probably the 5th biggest league in Europe.
What's better? PL, La Liga Serie A, Bundesliga.
The French, Dutch, Belgian etc. Are all toss. Portuguese league stronger than them.
