Roy's View From... View From Millwall

I think the argument is it was way off the ball and prevented their lad from jumping properly. I agree it would have been soft though.

Brewster did great for that goal generally, he stood way "offside" because it was a goal kick and came back to impede their man beautifully.
Brewster also went for the ball which he had a right to do. It was laughable them complaining about that as a foul, considering how they play. Mind you I don't notice any of their players appealing

Think they are fair comments, they acknowledged that we were by far the better team, what grates on me is that with with a proven championship striker in his prime we could easily have been 4 or 5 up at half time

The brewster aerial challenge was never a foul for me neither of the Millwall players were anywhere near the ball

“2 players off a very very good team” - wow, really? They had no clue whatsoever 1st half and only “came back into it” after we’d switched off and let them.
As for us, I fear a top Auto-chasing side would have gone for it and got 4 or 5; we certainly looked like we could first 30 mins. That mindset might be what leaves us challenging for a final play off spot instead.

Millwall are not pretty to watch but are good at what they do a high percentage of their goals come from set pieces. I expect them to be around the play off places at the end of the season much like the last one. I thought we defended their set pieces very well yesterday, it's what you have to do to beat Millwall.

He means Ronaldo and Messi.

What 'mindset' would that have been, considering that but for a saved penalty, it would have been 3 - 0 at half-time?

It didn't look like Brewster pushed him with any force, just got in the way of an out of position defender. No-one appealed at the time. Am I the only person to notice their keeper taking three steps on the penalty save before Norwood struck the ball?

Yes I did see that on the replay but Norwood could have used it to his advantage if he wasn't so blinkered

Simply lovely as always Roy, keep it up my good man! 👍

The Wall are ok, better than them others from down that way!
It’s that group self entitled west London minnows that get on my tits. Unfortunately 2 of that group are living up to their lofty arrogance in the Prem.
