Fair play to the transfer dept if true…
Certainly looks like the type of place you'd find books about Anel
Berge has about as much aerial presence as Warwick davisBloody love a tall player me. With Berge we’ll have two 6 ft 5ers on the team and Bash at 6 ft 3. Other fans can call us big lumps and actually be right again.
Add to that Bash isn't actually that good in the air, especially offensively.Berge has about as much aerial presence as Warwick davis
Unfortunately Egan has a ten bob head in the attacking thirdAdd to that Bash isn't actually that good in the air, especially offensively.
JLT is our best player at attacking set pieces, as shown last season.
Egan is quite decent at getting his head to the ball, but doesn't score anywhere near enough goals for the amount of chances he has.
Just when I was beginning to get excited, I learn that his dad’s been tweeting, which rarely ends well for our players……Seeing the quotes from Anel's dad on twitter earlier
Who is this other <25 midfielder ?? No bids on as yet. Gerrim signed up. UTBum.Anil commenting on Anel, without a single reference to Anal
For us to be a stepping stone he has to stand out as a top performer. Same goes for Sander. Fine by me. If they both have stand out seasons we probably go upBlades a stepping stone for Anel reckons his dad
“He is happy, of course, England is England. I told him: ‘Have a good season and then it’s easy to move on’. Sheffield United is an ambitious club. They are favourites for the top spot, so this is a good option by all accounts.”
‘Have a good season and then it’s easy to move on’? Has Ahmedhodzic Sr just revealed that his son sees Bramall Lane as a stepping stone to something bigger?
“Here, I’m drinking coffee and waiting to see if the clubs have agreed. (The announcement) will probably be today,” Mirsad adds.

If he is as good as he seems to be, I think he'd be looking to leave next summer unless we go up anyway, it's just his dad is honest about it! I'm ok with that to be fair I like some straight up talking to be fair! Not sure I'd want every player saying this but I understand why his dad has said it.I don’t mind players seeing us as a stepping stone, that means they are highly ambitious and believe they can play at a much higher level. All they have to do for that to come true is show us, show us and every other club/scout that you are too good for us. You will get the move if you do, the performance’s can only benefit us and more than likely a decent profit coming our way if it works out. Young hungry foreign players is where the big profits are if they work out because there is bargains to be got as opposed to big fees for homegrown players. Hopefully this signing will be a trend we stick too moving forward.
Have a word LinzNot [confimed]... yet....
Absolutely a stepping stone move. Let's be realistic. Regarded as one of the best young defenders in world football, he's not coming here for his love of the Championship. If we go up he'll stay, if not then he'll be open to offers (assuming he produces).
Not much of a move to a big club if you don’t play enough is it? It’s a sensible move for all involved. He may well be one of the best young defenders in World football, but I would argue that the fact is, demand for his services don’t back that up, and neither does the fee
Best young players who move on should move on to the best and highest placed clubs and is usually reflected by the size of fee (free transfers excepted)
I hope he is one of the best young defenders in the World, but for me, to be able to give him that accolade I’ll have to personally reserve judgement until I have seen how he copes with the English Championship
If every player said it and then performed as they hope we would go up to the Premiership and maybe finish 9th !If he is as good as he seems to be, I think he'd be looking to leave next summer unless we go up anyway, it's just his dad is honest about it! I'm ok with that to be fair I like some straight up talking to be fair! Not sure I'd want every player saying this but I understand why his dad has said it.
Was he twitching? His old man has stuck his nose in before much to Anels annoyance, tried to claim there was a deal with Chelsea a couple of years ago and tweeted a load of stuff about it to which Anel obviously wasn't happy at all.
Bosnian keep upCan't believe a Serbian who grew up in Sweden is seeing us as a career move and wasn't on the the Kop as a child.
Apologies.I resign from the Boris Johnson government.Bosnian keep up
Ahmedhodzic is a bit similar to Basham, ie not great at using his height in the opposition's box.Add to that Bash isn't actually that good in the air, especially offensively.

I think it's mainly Swedish.Apologies.I resign from the Boris Johnson government.
That down to me trying to find out what the language was over there and it getting in my head as they speak Bosnian, Croatian and Serbian
But... he and Sander will take the defenders attention away from Robbo as he thunders home header after headerAhmedhodzic is a bit similar to Basham, ie not great at using his height in the opposition's box.
Agree that Robinson attacks the ball very well. It's a shame he can't be in the box for his own throw ins.
