I don't want to the voice of doom on JOC but I would have thought his photo on the plane means he'll be doing his usual rehab work, but just in Portugal so to feel part of the squad; which I know he is! I doubt it means anything in terms of him returning any sooner. Saying that, I was surprised he's on the plane because we've not seen anything on JOC for ages, it is great to see he's going out to Portugal.

The club have been quite open that preseason is just as much about the bonding, as the fitness/games. The injured lads being around the place, is all about that squad mentality.
