That really is sad.

Genuinely, "you people", if you feel like you have to criticise and you think you're great at constructive criticism... Take to the streets and protest any number of things the government are doing/aren't doing. The country is far more of a mess than SUFC.

And there's no law against protesting...


N.B. I'm not denying free speech on the forum, bla bla. Just the negativity is often misplaced, and genuinely tedious as hell.

The best loans will come late so we just have to be patient, that’s how the market operates.
In terms of permanents I don’t expect more than one or two and I don’t mind that.
Next year is the time for permanents as we will be operating on a very different budget if still in the Championship so will know what we can afford on long-term contracts, loans this year give us the best possible quality of player without risking our financial future.
We nearly did it last season with no strikers for the run in and a terrible start so there is good reason to be hopeful that with a few smart acquisitions (as we had last year) and more luck with injuries that we will be there or thereabouts again.

Doubt we'll be in for Lowe now, Harry Toffolo is rumoured to be signing for £2.5m, pending a diving exam.

Not sure what you'd want for Berge but there's no way you're getting your money back for him, you’ll probably let him go to Germany or somethingfor about £10m, or Greece..... 😆

We're in for MGW anyway who is a better player.

Have you not realised that we are not bothered about your opinions.
happy for Lowe and for that matter any other player to stay as long as the potential buyer does not offer what we want as the relevant players have long contracts.
so go back to your play ground as you have no need to come on here as no players linked and your opinions are no longer relevant to SUFC

Perish the thought of Norwood and Fleck for another two years,they'll be even slower,we need a couple of mids with pace and athleticism and at least one to chip in with a few goals.

Well I’m not saying it’ll succeed, but I think that’s his long term vision and a fairly sensible approach, alongside a more experienced spine

Emphasis on the academy, selecting the very best local talent, whilst also picking up younger talented players discarded by bigger clubs, nurturing and developing them alongside our own trainees, right through to the first team. A reputation for giving young talent an opportunity, would make us an attractive destination for anyone hoping just to be given that chance, so often denied by many clubs.

Incidentally, nobody’s been ‘stolen’ because Heckingbottom, won’t entertain any offers for our youngsters.

I was under the impression we couldn't stop academy players being pilfered before they signed a senior contract?

I've been in for Jennifer Aniston and Halle Berry for a few years now. It's getting it over the line that counts!

If United get offered 10m for Berge, he won't go, simple as.

Dominated at your place in front of 27k gormy Yorkshiremen.

Then realised it wasn't much fun for the neutral so eased off at home and made a game of it. It gave you hope which was cute.

Then beat you in the cruellest way possible with a complete shithousing on penalties. Then two of your so called 'strikers' end up banged up because they teamed up on someone celebrating.

Then beat some other gormy Yorkshiremen in the final without getting into 2nd gear. They were tinpot enough for us to get thousands of their tickets too so even better.

Oh and then signed both your team's best player last season 😆 🤣 😂

Yep - any excuse to beat the club is taken with the utmost glee. All stated with a moral certainty that reveals itself as an ideology rather than anything based in evidence. If it was based in evidence, then new information, for example spending £3m on a centre half (even though we’re skint and supposedly run by owners that want to bleed the club dry) or loaning one of the most promising talents in the country (even though our recruitment team is apparently shit), should change their position. But it doesn’t.
