Never mind that Boo, who's going to give out the hourly sales figures now is what I need to know.

Did I read that you wanted someone with a lot of points to buy a ticket?

Yes and somebody came to the rescue.

Difficult though it is trying to fill the KOC's boots, unless with concrete while he's wearing them , still around 400 standing left today and TO expect them to reach general sale tomorrow.

Ey up. Nar den. Int general sale on Thus-di? Sales have obviously slowed down, but ticket office busy today. Tried rining twice (let me hold you for the last time :) ) and then e-mailed. E-mail said there were 600 terracing tickets left. if they've shifted 200 today, then looks like they might not make general sale. Seems that ticket office often guess at numbers mind and there may be some left for general sale after all. Av got welly's on t-day any ruad. Ad t stop wearing mi Rockports becos they're all tatty n got holes in em n dat.

I'm keeping my fingers crossed that some will make it until Thursday as I'm not enough of a "True Blade" to be allowed to buy my ticket before then.

If anyone can help out I would appreciate it - PM me if you can.

What is parking like round there? The football fans web site says

"There is no parking at the ground for supporters, so apart from a small pay and display car park in Buts Road, it is street parking."

Can anybody shed more light on this? Please.

There is no parking at the ground
There is a small P&D car park
You can park on the surrounding streets, beware of Wardens...

Useful?

You can park anywhere around Kew and get the 65 bus to the ground. It runs down Kew Road from Richmond and across the bridge. Alternatively, you may be able to park somewhere to the north of the ground but I don't know that area.

Richmond council parking website - look for Kew zones but not Zone KC as that's a 7 day restriction

Thanks Balham, looks like a plan is forming, must be some good pubs in the area too, more research to be done on my part.

No worries. There's a great little pub on the corner of Kew Green - not the cheapest (between £3 and £4 a pint) but it's a microbrewery so they tend to have their own stuff on tap. Link below.

The Botanist at Kew

Aside from that, there's a few of the LBs planning to meet up - PM me and I can let you know the details.

No news is good news?

Tickets have not sold out yet. But the buggers in the ticket office are keeping it open until 7 tonight! Tomorrow is the last day for members and then general sale on Thursday. A nervous wait for all those part timers! :D

350 tickets left today, meaning 250 sold between midday yesterday and today. Maybe they will make it to part-timers yet.

The one in Kew ??

What time is the official tour staying down till ??

2 spare adult tickets

I now have 2 spare adult tickets. If anyone wants them then PM me.

Quick question please - if I buy an all zone tube pass for the day (or zone 1-4) will it enable me to travel on the 13.07 overland/South West Trains service from Waterloo to Kew Bridge or will I have to buy a separate ticket?

I don't think it does to be honest. Your best bet is getting an Oyster card, putting the all day pass on that and then topping it up with an extra three quid to cover the cost of the train.

Scratch the above. You can get a London Travelcard which does cover everthing

Off-Peak zone 1-4 is £7.70
