that no television company wants to show the rather exciting, top-of-the-table, division one clash between city rivals Sheffiled United and the other cunts, which could be the break point in the whole season?

Nope?

Thought not.

TV companies = wankers.

What I don't quite understand is that on 31st March, Sky are showing the Unclean v PNE and on 9th April they're on again v Oldham, neither of which fixtures are likely to be pivotal in the race for the Championship.

Boycott sky then. I have for years. Only poor mans tele for me. with of course the option to watch on streaming when i want. Or maybe go to the pub to watch a game. In which case i suppose i'm not boycotting sky, just the domestic option.

Think its more that there are bigger games to the tv companies on sunday.

What we need in this instance is some of our expat blades to get their countries networks on the case. I'm sure the kurdistan blades are large enough in number for it to appeal to a local network operator..:)

Don't forget the spine tingling Brentford vs Carlisle match earlier in the week. We'll have been on Sky a grand total of one time all season by the end. That's some good choosing.

Definitely after a stream, found a great app for my phone which shows all manner of games :)

Given the position we are in, if we aren't on telly again, that rather implies we will have gone up automatically, or missed out on the play-off altogether. I'd say the latter is unlikely.

I think I can take that deal...

I'd rather we take the league in stealth mode. BBC & Sky seem to agree with me. Let them show every Teat game for the rest of the season so we can see them spiral out of contention.

I am relieved its not on Sky, we never seem to play well when the cameras are there. We know what we are about and lets carry on going about it quitely and confidently and I m sure we will get our rewards.

Let's get this straight.

No TV company is showing it anywhere and you're asking if there's a live stream?

There are often streams from places such as Scandinavia and the like even when it's not shown by a UK TV station.

According to reports, once the Carling Cup final was decided Sky requested that it was moved to the Saturday at 12.45 to replace the cancelled Liverpool v Everton game, but SYP said no.

With the match is being shown at Bramall Lane there will be some way of getting a stream. I'm not quite sure how personally, though.

Because they're not showing 3rd Division football?!?

Not being funny, but who outside Sheffield really cares enough to demand this game be televised.

A lot of my mates at work are interested, but thats because they know me and they know the passion, just as I take an interest in their teams.

I'm not sure there is a demand, but a lot of people down here see the game is on a Sunday, and assume thats because of Sky rather than SYP.

Add into that that the game Sky are showing is some obscure scottish game with one small team and one team about to die on its arse, and they start wondering why on earth outr game isn`t on.

Personally I'd rather see a lower division derby (Bristol, E-mids, Potteries(!)) than a boring top flight game, many others feel the same...

If the choice is Sweaties v Socks then yeah, lower league english football is better for Sky

I'm holding out hope a super geek will hack into the signal and post a link.

Edit - Not on here, obviously ;)

Even if someone manages to hack the signal, they can't just "post the link". All they can do is post the satellite co-ordinates for someone else with a motorised dish.

EDIT and maybe post a webcam at the screen

Well they can also run their sky box through their PC, and broadcast the pictures

If they do Highbury I would appreciate a PM here in New Zealand Absolutely zilch here apart from the likes of Manure on Sky etc.

SwissBlade ir right, outside Sheffield who cares ?

Three Simple Steps:
  • People create google + accounts
  • One person at the beam back creates a Google+ Hangout and points their phone at the screen
  • Expats join in Hangout and watch the video
  • Job done

Well I figure something as important as fellow Blades getting to see the Pig Roast was a good reason to break my exile :)
