It was just a suggestion. But if Monty played a blinder - bossed the midfield, scored a belter for us, and stopped a couple on the line at the other end - there would still be some who would criticise him.

as for these stats they are a bit misleading (like all stats).. you can't compare them because the sample sizes are different.. it's a bit like saying .. ooh man utd are averaging 2 points per game over 15 games but bolton are a better team because they have played one game and won, so they average 3 points per game
