Did I hear on Radio Sheffield football heaven that we were in for him ? Could have sworn that the millers fans weren’t happy in the garbled bits I heard.

A couple of ITK millers fans saying we’ve bid £2m. My mate who’s a season ticket holder there didn’t seem too bothered about him going.

Ah ok,whenever I have heard Warne,he wanks over his’box to box’ midfielder who someone will have to pay a fortune for him 🤷‍♂️

I saw Rotherham play a few times last season and think Wiles was injured for a couple of those so hard to comment on him but I was always impressed with Barlasser. Good range of passing, wanted the ball and can tackle. Good engine too, think he could be a player.

So presumably Ben can play for Scotland then also since he's Eddie's grandson. Don't know much about him, but 8 goals in 46 games is promising, Another short arse though!

That seems steep for this skint club.

Saw Rovrum on TV a few times last season. Very agricultural. Similarly to Wednesday, I don't think they have a single player who'd get in out squad.

Asked a few of my relatives about him, who support Rotherham.

Don’t want to see him go and feel he could play in the Prem eventually. Apparently likes to get forward, but doesn’t shy from a tackle either (sounds similar to Fleck). Good engine on him.

"Good engine and has a tackle in him" is either slang for a genuine decent box to box midfielder that isn't tired after putting shift after shift of full 90 mins in OR a Monty inspired poor first touch which is why he gets about so much and a bit of shithouse tackling. For £2million I can see more of the later attributes than the first but be good to be proven wrong.

Sounds like exactly the sort of player we shd be looking at for a position that desperately needs filling. Top, young players from the best sides in league one are where we should be shopping.

Not all will ne a success but I'd rather bring a lad in like this than bring someone like Hourihane back on loan

Most of my mates are Millers fans & I’ve seen them a fair bit over the last couple of years.

Wiles is alright. Local lad (from Rawmarsh I believe). Not amazing, but certainly not a bad player. Not sure about £2 million though.

Hmmm, don't think we would spend £2m here, when it could be offered within deals for Rothwell types that have proven themselves in the Championship.

Not knocking Wiles as I barely know him. But doubt we'd spend (or commit spending) a lot of hard cash on this type of deal (unless we really really highly rate him).

Well he’s already scored more goals than Monty ever did in England…

£2m? Never reyt!

Hoping it is though

Whether he signs or not, that would be encouraging and at least then we haven't quite hit the dizzy lows of back to "bargain bucket" days

When it comes to the recruitment team, I trust them to uncover some absolute gems when they have a limited budget, we’ve seen them do it numerous times. It’s only when they’re given a larger budget that that seem to be useless. I imagine the £2m price tags will not be 100% accurate like when that was the price reported for norwood and wilder revealed we bought him for under £1.5m and I’m assuming it’ll be structures on performance as well. Don’t think anyone can argue with paying £2m if he ends up a good player

Correct, although I think he has moved out quite recently, not sure where to
