Egan's attacking headers

Seems to me that Egan heading the ball at the goal (but not at the goalkeeper), should be our main priority this summer. All the CBs could benefit from a solid month with Billy Sharp coaching them tbf.

Forget the training facilities or transfers! Pretty sure we'd be automatically promoted if Egan had hit double figures, which rather crazily he should have!

JLT seemed to take over the role of the one attacking the ball at times & he did pretty well. Egan could indeed have chipped in with a few more goals though.
I’m not sure it’s technique though or the fact that some of our players seem to have a head shaped like a 50p piece that’s causing the issue.
Another problem for the medical team to tackle…..

Target fixation. Get the psychologists on the case.

Typical that the time he beats the GK and gets it on target the Forest player cleared it off the line

His heading is perfect for a centre back, hitting the ball with the top of his forehead so it is at its highest point, he just needs to adapt to attacking situations, where he needs to head level or down. Training should sort that but if everything was that easy…..
