Also could clearly see a mix of white and blue shirts there was no steward segregation. Some Fans from both sides were drinking together before the match too.

Fantastic to see the football authorities reacting to last night’s debacle with such swift, decisive and meaningful action:

“The EFL condemned the pitch invasion at Forest and has warned it could consider measures including capacity reductions, should such similar occurrences happen in future”

What a hopeless, lily-livered, utterly inadequate response.

#ledbydonkeys, etc.

“warned it could”

AKA “that should make sure we look good. Chuck this onion and tissues in the bin please”

I don’t buy into this crap, that one idiot has spoilt it for the rest of those fantastic celebrating, well behaved Forest fans.
Each club has it’s fair share of knobheads, who decent people wouldn’t give the time of day to, outside a football match.
I’m afraid we have them, and Forest have their fair share of them, judging on last night.I’ve stopped going to away matches, because you often end up sat next to someone who is totally out of their head who just wants to fight with someone.
First thing we have to do, is admit there is a significant hooligan element in the game, which is getting larger as it goes unchecked.
We need to stop saying we’re all fantastic apart from an odd one or two.It simply isn’t true.
All clubs need to get a grip with stewarding, before someone is seriously injured or killed.it’s just not fit for purpose anymore. Grounds need to be properly stewarded by professionally trained people
This may make some smile, we have a young lad who works for us with slight LD who loves sufc we have took him to the odd game down the years as his mum is very protective and won't let him go on his own
We have a dickhead florist fan who decided to take the piss out of him this morning, luckily they weren't onsite but outside the gate ,but bless him our resident "owl" took him to task about his attitude with the lad and it ended up with the florist fan horizontal 🤣🤣🤣🤣
Condoning violence?

Well done Tazzy, Let's not tar all Forest fans with the same brush. Would think 99% of them feel the same way as us Blades. Use to work with a couple of Forest fans and they will be mortified at that Dolls Head last night. Plain and simple, a jail sentence.
I agree with you, but wouldn’t go as far as 99%. I’ve met 100 Forest, our survey says…

The media darlings rhetoric has changed to:

1. Billy Sharp goading them (no one saw this other than one person) prior to being assaulted

2. Hecky riling the crowd by encouraging their player to get on with the throw in (which we did see and for which he was booked)

3. McBurnie stomping someone whilst wearing a surgical boot with a foot injury (which presumably has been assessed by professionals or he would be in the match day squad as the only fit striker)

The proximate cause of 1 and 3 was people being on the pitch who shouldn't have been there.

You can see the Media airbrushing history before your eyes.

This includes the Football league. Forest have had 6 pitch related incidents this season- 4 pitch invasions, Arsenal, Leicester, BDTBL, and last night, plus 2 assaults, Leicester fan (jailed) plus Billy. However, do one more, and the Football league might do something - spineless.

A man has been charged after Sheffield United captain Billy Sharp was injured at the end of Nottingham Forest's play-off match with the Blades.
Crowds invaded the pitch at the City Ground on Tuesday after Forest won the Championship play-off semi-final on penalties.
Sharp was knocked to the ground and later reported to be "shook up and bleeding".
Robert Biggs, 30, is due to appear before magistrates on Thursday.
Nottinghamshire Police said Mr Biggs, from Derbyshire, was charged with assault occasioning actual bodily harm and going on to the playing area at a football match.
He has been remanded in custody and is due to appear at Nottingham Magistrates' Court.

Billy too actually. The evil bastard put his head in the way of an innocent man who was just wanting to celebrate by pretending to be a plane. What a Monster!

They really don't like the fact their big day was completely overshadowed by their nobhead fans do they? They embarrassed themselves and they need to get over it.

Their thread that started out condemning what happened and saw the launch of the just giving page has now turned into post after post blaming united players, Heckingbottom and united fans for being the cause of everything (possibly even inflation, climate change and war in ukraine, its not clear yet) and how class act Billy could teach us a thing or 2. Its quite wednesday-esque really but instead of inflating attendances, they're changing what happened to such an extent by tomorrow it'll be Blades that invaded the pitch and attacked their own players.

I think I even saw a reference to blades fans punching a fan in a wheelchair in a cup game #sheffieldunitedfansareadisgrace

It's back!

Luckily every single neutral is calling them out for their deflection tactics. They look ridiculous

To clarify, the one medical boot McBurnie was wearing was a fashion tip from Oliver Burke……

Just been watching a major European final, to my knowledge not one supporter went on the pitch at the final whistle. Obviously luck, or could it be that it was well organised with sufficient trained Stewards.
Aye
They all got their fisticuffing done & dusted (well) afore hand in the town

Anyone found out his address yet? We can all start ordering skips to his house then. I’m sure it’s order now pay later on stuff like that.

Not that I'm aware of but it appears people have found his FB profile.

I've nowt against forest fans, well nowt that draining Ladybower, filling it with petrol, then their entire fan base, and throwing an hand grenade in wouldn't cure.
I'd piss on em. But only after the flames had gone out.

News about crowd trouble at play off games. EFLhave issued an official statement :-

“It’s Sheffield United, fuck ‘em”

Not one bit ,but throughout my 60 plus years if anyone wants to go down that road I have always obliged them (he who casts the first stone etc )
Not so much these days as its started to hurt 😞
But for info the florist fan in question tried to blind side the Wednesday fan as he walked away and got what he deserved
