Sharp assaulted

I reckon he'll get sent down. ABH plus the high profile circumstances of running on the pitch with the clear intent of doing that. Give him 6 months and a prison with a few Blades in....

That Leeds fan who assaulted Kirkland got 4 months, and what happened last night was more violent IMO. That's a combined headbutt/push, with all that momentum behind it. 12 months minimum.

Started off well enough, but now apparaently it's Hecky's fault Billy got assaulted! Absolute scum.

Watched it back and yeah it's a headbutt at full charge. And Billy's required stitches too. Completely unprovoked on camera.
He should serve a sentence and be banned from all stadiums in the country.

It's usually the cowards way of taking someone unawares, suitable punishment would be give him to kell for 3 5 minute rounds rather than the usual magistrates slap on the wrist

Did the pig who assaulted a Palace player get time in jail or a statue in the car park?!

Genuinely expecting Billy to take this matter in to his own hands if I’m being honest.

Not sure that’s wise but who could blame him ?

Sorry dude but it's just grasping for what we (fairly) lost at the end of the day.
I do get what you're saying, but I can't agree.
As I've already said this twat could be just a glory hunter at his first match.. You can't punish them all for one mindless thug.
Just my opinion of course. Though I'm. sure every aspect of this will be discussed in minute detail for weeks to come.
The game was over. We’d lost. Why would anyone expect us to be given the tie because of the events after the final whistle.? Forest won’t be kicked out and nor should they be.

The fans weren’t properly stewarded. Couple of games behind closed doors for the scummy bastards.

I think as fans we should copy the scousers on this one. Once his name is out and then his address is leaked, the least we can do is order a load of shit to his house.

Regarding what sanctions might be appropriate, it’s worth noting that this is the second time, this season, that a fan has twatted a player on the pitch at the City Ground.

Yes, the first instance was by a visiting (Leicester) fan, in February. But, if the line taken by the EFL/FA turns out to be about assuring player safety, primarily, rather than about the conduct of any particular set of fans, then Forest could be swimming in some fairly deep shit this morning.

Two assaults, in two high profile games, on the same pitch, broadcast around the world in real time, within a matter of weeks of each other? At a moment when this kind of rubbish seems to be escalating in the UK game at large? Matches behind closed doors might be the least of Forest’s worries.

All of which, of course, presupposes a rational and effective approach to football governance by the FA and EFL [hollow sound of bleak laughter, off stage].

The scummiest fanbase in football are Forest. Scabs by name, scabs by nature. The Sharp incident was unfortunately only one part of tonight. At the full time whistle they had a mass pitch invasion and the fans all went towards the Blades end. We're talking thousands of them; a pitch full. Almost all scum. If the Blades had responded to the provocation it would've turned into a mass brawl. Eventually a significant amount of police entered the pitch and pushed them back, but it was a close run thing. Well done Blades for not taking the bait!
Where were the police when the fat twat headbutted Sharp?

I can't see how the assailant got away last night?Forest failed to protect player of an opposition team.
Consequences due.

Why would you go on an internet forum viewed by thousands of people and say he's called John, then say he might not be called John. What is the point - really?
Coz that's what I was told,I'm not saying it 1000 percent, and as you say it's a forum we all have a right to post what we want, don't like it stick me on ignore 👍

Although not the scariest thing to do I have reported the tweet to twitter as using threatening behaviour it will get reviewed and a notification sent to the user or it could be account removal a bit of inconvenience if nothing else
Wonder if a bit of digging can come up with an employer for him? Be nice to inform them he's glorifying violence on Internet
