Ndiaye

His pressing and ball winning capability is the best in the squad. He's our best player out of possession by a country mile. Even when he isn't having one of his better games, he draws players and makes them drop deeper which creates space for others to exploit.

He's been poor the last few games. Puts a shift in but doesn't seem to know where to be or what to do. That will come with experience though. The fact he's so unpredictable and dangerous naturally causes other teams problems. I sometimes think he'd be better further forward. Playing where he was at the start of the season. Just behind the striker with the freedom to move about. Especially if MGW is coming back. I suspect that might factor into the thinking re Jebbo. He's wasted on the bench is MGW starts.

2 things I like about Ndiaye (which also apply to MGW).

- wins more than his fair share of tackles against bigger players high up the pitch, something we desperately needed before he came in.

- never stops hustling and trying things, even when he’s not having a good day or things aren’t coming off.

He seems to ignore the pass and attempt to dance through players, only, it only works the odd time.
Hes got a lot to learn and a long way to go, but, I think he will get there, and hopefully we bring Jebbison back asap, and they can find the form we need.
No different for any player who runs at and past people
It doesn’t work every time only
We shouldn’t stifle that in him just accept it’s a hazard of his role
With experience, games and maturity he will develop other parts of his game
And he all night again had two three defenders crowding him

We all see things different. I thought he was pure class from start to finish. His work rate is off the scale. For me he’s the best player we have right now.

True, a lot of his tricks and passes didn't come off today but a few did. But even so, his tracking back, tackling, and generally being a PITA for the opposition was brilliant and makes him one of the first names on the team sheet
His pass success rate was an excellent 85%, higher than Norwoods 76%. He does try things other players don't try, which can lead to criticism,
but we're going to miss him terribly if his injury is anything longer than a couple of weeks.

I would much rather have a midfielder who tries to make stuff happen than one who plays 10 yard sideways passes hoping for someone else to do something. Against Peterborough for instance he ignored the obvious pass out to the wing back, took on 2 players to give Hourihane the time and space to take a shot. Inevitably sometimes it won't come off.

He’s a very raw talent at the moment. Some of his decision making will develop over time, such as when to release the ball and when to keep hold. You only have to take another look at his goal at Fulham to realise what a gift he has.

Ndiaye………..what a talent
Bogle has shown tremendous improvement since he first arrived
I’m surprised there were no bids for these two in the window? If Jebbo can make the step up we could have the basis of a decent three, with more youngsters surely to come

Is that 4 goals in 5/6 games now?

Thought he was sensational today and looks like an accomplished forward alongside MGW and Berge.

One of 4/5 nominations for MOTM.
He played with such maturity today against players with much more experience. This lad is going to be a star.

Coming into form at the right time.

Hopefully we can finally win a play off final and give him the chance of PL football with us.

Otherwise we may have interest from him in the summer. Possibly even from Wolves if they want to keep the MGW/NDiaye partnership going.

hes another player thats benifitted by reaching match fitness level
several players thats been out with injuries are all flourishing just when it matters
energy levels the first half hour were through the roof

Really excellent player. Hopefully can learn to last 90 minutes but I wonder if he might have to ease up on some of his defensive work for that to be possible!

Front 3 looks really good at the moment even without Billy.

I don’t think any team at this level can handle this front three. You can’t marked one out of the game because the other three will take you to pieces. Outstanding isn’t it? :)

Ndiyae for 70 min brewster on for rest when he's back

We had a thread recently about who's going to be the next Billy Sharp and when you look at the 4 goals Ndiaye has scored in the 5 games, they're all poachers goals, about being in the right place at the right time. He's got a lot more pace and trickery than Billy too, so probably more of a modern version. He just needs to continue the consistency he's shown in the last 5 games and work on his overall fitness as he shouldn't be cramping after 70 minutes every game. His headed winner against Cardiff shows that, like Billy, you don't have to be tall to score headers if you make the right runs and anticipate where the ball is going.

Felt a wave of emotion reading this.

For the love of God don't sell him in the summer.

A few weeks ago we were wondering where the goals were coming from and real concerns about a lack of experienced striker's, funny how things turn out sometimes, Berge, Ndiye and MGW suddenly look the business and has raised our confidence about the play offs, I bet only FallowfieldBlade saw this coming and predicted it

I'd really love to see us build a solid foundation supporting MGW, Berge, Ndiaye and Brewster next season. If we go up, I think it's a strong possibility. The movement is exactly what we've been missing.

It’s just a shame that Brewster has been injured. He was starting to come good and would have benefited from a season in The Championship before he tackles the Premier league again. At least if we did go up he wouldn’t have to suffer with Wilder’s ‘death to strikers’ tactics that he was put through last time.

What an absolute player this lad is looking.I was worried he might be catching the didzy bug regarding finishing, but soon put that to bed.Another thing that impresses me is his strength and aggression for such a slight stature.
