Chaps,

Stayed behind for a few beers, met Wilson on the platform going into L/Bridge. Today, we lacked a cutting edge in the final 3rd, never got behind from wide positions, forwards were too square. Got no real pace in the team. He agreed. Said his hands are tied, no money; like to bring in a winger, but got no dosh.

Today played good football up to the final third, against the Burys & Yeovills, our forwards can find space, create opportunities; against well organised sides like Charlton, we lack the creativity and pace to unlock defences. Let's hope we can offload and give the manager the dosh to rectify this.

Poor sod he had to make his own way home on the train no room on the team bus for that bad boy!

Absolute gospel. Was staying over in London; hopefully scouting t/morrow for some pace!

Scouting for girls tonight

Wilson and the players are staying in London tonight so you should have seen the players with him. As for pace, that wasn't the problem today. We just made wrong decisions . The last 20 minutes saw go for the cross into the box on many occasions when a short incisive pass to Lowton or Willo would have been better(McDonanld the main culprit) They played deep which meant pace wouldn't have got behind them. However we did miss someone who could give us something difference. Someone who can come off a centre half and pick up the ball between midfield and attack.(Billy Clarke ?)

I thought we were a bit one dimensional at times today and didn't create many clear chances but saying that,I still thought we were the better side for most of the game.
