I think we'll just scrape in, but ot make the final.

I can’t see us getting past the semi’s, our away form is going to be our undoing. We’ve gone out of form right at the wrong time.

Not to mention how we handle pressure.

We’ll not even make the play offs. There’ll be some ridiculous or nefarious reason for it happening as well. Chris Wilder will be passing all Hecky’s secrets onto QPR and Fulham and Boro will pip us.

Big worry is we've been nowhere near good enough away from home against bang average teams. QPR are probably a bit better than average. We could easily not win then needing even a point against Fulham becomes really tough. Yes Fulham will be up but they're by far the best team in the league, score goals for fun and will be up for signing off the season well. Friday pretty much win or bust for me 🙏

I've gone for out in the semi-final. Teams who finish 6th rarely win these things (10% chance I think)

I will say however that I do think we are a dangerous side against anyone. We can be really good defensively and have 2 or 3 players who can be matchwinners. On the wrong day we look bang average., so it's a bit pot luck to expect us to win them, but you never know.

Miss out on the play-offs, I reckon. Taken apart in the semi-finals otherwise.

Lose in the second leg, away..

As others have said it'll be the away performances that does for us, I've seen a good few of the terrible aways this season and travelled back wondering what the tactics were, from just not trying at Derby & Millwall to folding a winning hand at Preston, going ahead at Blackburn and Coventry just to stop playing and get hammered.. Even Luton under slav when we looked clueless, but that looks a good point now..

We'll most likely be away for the second leg against Hudds, which I actually think is the better shot, then Forest if we make it through, I really hope they prove me wrong as its a golden opportunity after the way that bedwetter slavisa started the season with us, and I'm guessing this is gonna be a final chance as a lot of players will be sold to balance the books or released this summer should we not make it..it will absolutely be plan B..

Tell you what would be funny, and a very "football like" turn up for the books... Us and Luton in the final 😂

I live in hope though....... But it's the hope................

I expect we will scrape a 6th place finish, would not be surprised if this was by goal difference.

I do not believe that many teams will see us as a push-over and as others have said we are capable of beating anyone in Championship. We also have a reasonable record against the likes of Forest, Huddersfield and Luton.

On balance, if we play our best football and perform we can win through. Against the odds, but not impossible.

We will scrape in on GD after a 0-0 vs Fulham. First leg at home to Bournemouth, Billy Sharp gets injured early doors. We scrape a 0-0, Away tie and we take it to extra time after another 0-0, Solanke puts us out of our misery in the second half of extra time and we head home after another PO defeat

I think it largely depends on the state of our paper thin squad.

Any more injuries in the next couple of games and we are knackered.

If we keep everyone who is currently fit healthy and Billy can play at least an hour a game we should make the play off final (as long as we somehow avoid Forrest).

Then we will lose at Wembley.

Yes we have to break the hoodoo sometime, but not before at least one more painful kick in the nuts.

100% depends on the fitness of Billy, we were like a different side for the 20 mins he played Saturday. He enables the others to play their game again. With Billy i think a great chance without him we need a great big slice of luck to get over the line.

Make the playoffs, make the final and beat Huddersfield 7-0.................

I actually think if we make the playoffs the pressure is off us a little compared to Forest, who is our likely opponent.
Yes at the start of the season we like all relegated teams are favorites.
However with the way they have been since Cooper and the the cup run the hype is there to achieve something. In a way it's why I think they might not go up.
Not necessarily due to us or anything but more so it's often how it pans out.
