As more & more clubs move up from Cat 2 to Cat 1 - Forest, Palace, Leeds most recently. The number of Cat 2 teams (like us) left fucking around in the Professional Development League dwindles every year. Also some clubs - Huddersfield & Brentford have chosen a different route. Some clubs simply cannot afford the travel costs of a full everyone play everyone season, so we have this unbalanced North & South split league.
